I know I was certainly be going BACK!
Terrible, unprofessional and time consuming experience trying to get my Acer Predator laptop screen fixed. I presented the laptop to them with a graphical issue (the glass was intact just not receiving video). I was told this was not a problem and an easy fix.
After having my laptop for 2 days they finally contacted me via text saying, and I quote “there is issue with mainboard this $350 to fix and a week of time”. After asking what exactly the issue was I received no reply, then I called and explained to them the motherboard had no issue when I gave it to them, there was only an issue with the screen (or possibly cables). The next day I received a text saying “my technician had another look and there is an issue with the screen also. It is now $450 to fix”.
After discussing with them for a while over the phone I decided to go ahead with the repairs as I need the laptop back.
3 days later I get a text to say it is ready for pick up. I paid and took it home. Upon arriving home I discovered the repair had not been done correctly at all. There was 2cm of graphics missing from the screen and the top of the screen was cut off (looked like the screen didn’t fit properly).
So I took it back and was told “oh it’s just an issue with your resolution” - no it wasn’t I had already tried changing the settings etc etc.so I left it with them to finish the job properly.
After 2 days I get a text saying “need to send laptop to manufacturer to fix, will take 2-3 weeks”.
At this point I had had enough so I said no, I will get it fixed by someone that knows what they are doing, and went in to pick my laptop up, and get my money back.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE STAYS AWAY FROM THIS INEXPERIENCED, OVERPRICED SHOP.
After reading other reviews I see incomplete repairs or dodgy repairs are common here.
For comparison I Have taken it elsewhere and was quoted $150 and 2 days repair
My partner and I went here to get his phone's battery replaced. It was fine, until we had to replace the charging port and decided to do it ourselves after watching a youtube tutorial. When we looked inside the phone, we found that some parts were missing, and the battery wasn't even secured properly. The quality of the battery is also questionable since a lot of information written on it are scribbled over with a sharpie. The person who tended us wasn't very informative and rather rude. Poor quality and expensive. I will not recommend this place.
Deliver my laptop to fix and their diagnosis is screen and keyboard are broken, monitor is fixed perfectly, they said keyboard has to wait for another week due to delay, we're fine with it. But after we paid half of the price ($100) and it turns out it was the motherboard issue, the keyboard works completely fine. After a slight argument they decided to only return $50 eventho it's not our fault. It was an unpleasant experience and do not recommend others to come.
Kelvin took the job on removing a badly stripped screw on the motherboard/heatpipe in my laptop. He only works starting from an hour before the shop closes which made him hard to reach since I still needed my computer. He eventually met me and removed the screw on the spot which took about 20min and charged me $20. Very good repair speed and cost yeah? But that is not the end of story. In the process he scratched 2 traces and completely cut 1 trace. This made the computer unable to start. He put the clear tape over the site of damage. Upon inspection I found the cut trace and reconnected it by drawing with pencil over the cut. The computer turned back on and works fine now.
I did talk to Kelvin about the cut. I told him I know it is precarious to operate a drill on fine components and stuff happens so I am not after compensation. Just wanted him to know I would rather pay more for the repair if he took greater care. At the end of the day it is working again with simple enough remedy on my own and another more reputable computer repairer outright rejected dealing with the striped screw so I know it is risky repair. It is just the arrogant attitude from Kelvin that got me. He was in total denial about the cut and tried to weasel out of it by claiming there was not proof he did this and my photos could be forgery. He even went out of his way saying he has 20 years of experience and I was just bad at removing screws so I stripped it.
Overall I think I was beating a dead horse with this repair anyway and getting a functional computer ultimately with slight damage is considered lucky. Just be mindful that you are rolling the dice with Kelvin, he did a good job cutting the screw off cleanly but he is oblivious to mistakes. Big ego stops personal development you see. I have no doubt he knows how to do repairs but when accidents happen he will blame you and turn quite nasty.
The repair to my laptop was in my case same day service and very reasonably priced.
My only wish in hindsight was to be asked if I wanted a larger HDD (if possible) as that was the item being replaced. Otherwise very happy with the service and price
Very nice shop and shop owner is also a good person. He fixed my laptop at a reasonable price and with in 24 hours. That's the best part of service, quick and easy repair. Thanks.
Speedy and very reasonably priced screen replacement after I introduced my phone to a rock. Great service, would definitely recommend.
Gave great service, supplied and repaired my Mac book pro, changed 6s screen, all works great, quick, efficient, economically friendly (great price) thanks again
Scam. Left my computer with them to get fixed, said they'd call, month later and still no call. I called them and they said my computer is ready and to pick it up, they charged me $180 and said they'd ordered me a new battery and they'd call when it arrived. THREE months later and no call, I called to ask about it and they said they don't remember me and never had my computer. And my computer is still broken.and now the shops moved? It's either a scam or a front.
Robert From (Quick fix) he is the best of best.he fix my computer for very affordable

I will go to him again when my computer got problems.
Thank you Robert for the good job you done. ….
A small friendly professional computer shop specialising in new and second-hand notebooks laptops computers and a speciality in repairs reasonably inexpensive to other competitors.
Owner and operated by Peter who is courteous friendly professional and always seems to come through to my amazement with complex issues sometimes whilst one Waits.
Located Midway down Regent Street on the right hand side as one is heading towards the airport.
Approximately a 3 minute walk from Redfern station highly recommended
Kelvin fixed my HP laptop fast & very affordable. I'm very happy as there are photos of my family & documents that I thought I had lost forever. I will be taking my HP tower to him to be fixed! I highly recommend his work & prices! Thanks from me & the boys!
The owner Kelvin was very helpful, repaired my phone screen in just a couple of hours and the price was very affordable. Would go again.
Don't be deterred by the outside appearance. Most repair shops wouldn't quote over the phone and I knew I wouldn't bother driving around to get my computer fixed anyway so I hopped the street over to this shop. Greeted by who I believe is the owner, I gave him my computer to repair. Forgot to ask quote before leaving and didn't know what to expect when picking up the machine. Turns out he's a solid guy and fixed up the computer probably below market cost. Hopefully won't need to go again, but will recommend.
