Quality Hotel NOAH'S On The Beach reviews
64Great location to Ocean Baths and Newcastle beach, ice cream shop across the road, easy access to City.
Stayed 2 nights with family. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The view from the hotel (ocean view rooms) is spell bounding.
The food has limited options but there are enough places around to explore for food.
The beach is the highlight of this location.
Overall excellent stay for any family/couple.
Great location. Average rooms the bed could’ve been a bit bigger. Less than average service
I opted for a short getaway from busy Sydney, and I'm convinced I couldn't have picked a better destination! While the first person at the front desk wasn't very welcoming, all the other staff members I encountered were delightful. The breathtaking views, the pleasant weather, and the nearby dining options were all fantastic.
Also spotted some which was a lovely send-off just before I checked out!
I will definitely be back!
Noah’s is very basic yet charged at the cost of luxury. The decor is outdated with a 1990s aesthetic. The car park is tiny. If you have anything bigger than a compact SUV you will struggle to park. There is no way to turn off the exhaust fan in the bathroom, so if you are someone that likes to sleep in silence, you are out of luck. For the cost I was extremely underwhelmed. I would not stay again. Location is great though.
Overall a wonderful experience. Highlights for us was watching a breaching whale and pod of dolphins for the comfort of our room.
Great location, but a bit pricey. Bed comfortable enough, lovely linen. Suite reasonable size with nice balcony overlooking the beach.
Newcastle is a great place to visit to get the beach experience. It is not far from Sydney- accessible via a 3hr train ride. We recommend the coastal walk in Newcastle.
Noah's has a fantastic location. Rooms were a bit dated but the location was great, right by the beach. The hotel looks like it was very nice in its time. We were there to explore Newcastle and did not care about the room being fancy, so it was not a problem. We asked for the highest floor possible within the tier of the room we booked and the staff was accommodating which was very nice! Would recommend for a great location on the water. We did not eat at the restaurant.
Lunch service amazing.seafood basket mediocre other meals great.view fantastic
Cannot fault service and choice of drinks
Made a booking a couple of weeks ahead and were looking forward to a lovely dinner with friends. We called again 1 week prior to our booking to add a couple more people which they happily accommodated. Then the restaurant called us 24 hours before our reservation to say they had to cancel our booking as they had a wedding on.
Very poor form!
How does a wedding suddenly appear in your booking system 1 day ahead?
This is the worst so called Hotel I’ve stayed, however staff was friendly but that’s as far as it goes.
Incredibly rude staff.
Whoever is in charge of marketing certainly needs good skills and training in customer service and support.
We came here for Breakfast, we weren't staying at the hotel.
Cooked breakfast buffet items were only Luke warm.
Staff weren't present for at least 40 minutes, no plates, had to hunt through cupboards to find some.
Coffee machine was poor, trying to get away by using the least amount of coffee as possible.
The only positives are the view, and the auto-pankcake machine.
As a first-time visitor here, I would not recommend.
Very friendly customer service and also helpful room had a great view of the harbour and the view from the restaurant was amazing. So close to the beach. Clean and tidy rooms. We will definitely be back again.
Our experience today at Noah’s Restaurant was exceptional. The food was delicious and well priced and the service was outstanding. The location is spectacular with uninterrupted views over Newcastle beach. Will most definitely be returning soon and often!
Nice location on the beach however room was dirty (shower had sand and hair everywhere). Whe requested toilet paper was advised to come down and get it.
Great view. Highly recommend the 2 or 3 course meal deal. Otherwise food was delicious and presented very well.
Great beach location, easy access to beaches cafes, restaurants. If you like waking up to the sound of surf gently rolling on the beach Noahs is for you. We love sitting on the private balcony overlooking Newcastle Beach — gorgeous! Noah’s offers the best views! The restaurant has good selection of meals and drinks. However we like to venture out and eat at cafes & restaurants. Off-street parking saves frustration at parking fines as car spaces are competitive around the beach.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and with private balcony. Great for sitting and watching the surfing or SuperCars Race.
Very popular hotel during Supercars and Surf festival and weddings —booking ahead recommended!
Stains on the sheets and cockroaches everywhere. Used to be my favourite place to stay in Newcastle but won’t be going back ever again.
Noah’s is a gorgeous old girl situated in pole position on the beach in Newcastle.
Rooms are great with fabulous sea views.
Spotlessly clean.
The best part is the staff are helpful and friendly which made my stay perfect.
Will recommend to my friends.
