I booked ultrasound scan for my painful leg on Wednesday morning, at the end of my scans, I was told that the results will be sent to the doctor by the following morning, so I booked a noon-time appointment with the GP on Friday. When I received the phone from GP, he tells me the results aren’t in yet, also need few more days. This is absolutely ridiculous service, I have to bear the pain to waiting for the results to see the doctor. Not impressed by all these logistical issues of this radiology clinic. It is a nightmare to go to this clinic.

A big shout-out to the caring and skilled ultrasound technician and female doctor who, on 18th Sept, performed a (relatively painless) guided steroid injection to my right ring finger. I'm sorry, I forget your names. I was told the steroid may take up to 10 days to take full effect, but I am noticing a vast improvement already on the day after. Yes, you may have to wait a long time at reception and some of the paperwork seems excessive, but there may be Medicare and other bureaucratic requirements for this. That's why you are asked to come 15 mins early and, after the paperwork is completed, service is very speedy.

Last time I had an Xrays at this clinic I was told that I have to make an appointment. Since Wednesday 23rd Aug very unsuccessfully I have been trying calling to make one, to hear every time a male voice saying that they regret not to be able to answer the call, to leave a name andphone number, which I did, that they return the call ASAP.
After trying a different times of the day, was always coming the same recording. It's obvious that nobody answers the calls, as well as they don't even care to return the calls.
It's obvious too, that they overlook that are dealing with people with medical issues that if the GP recommended to go to Radiology, the matter could be urgent, and a delay could be detrimental.
Please invest on a receptionist that is able to answer the phone, or a least have the courtesy to return the phone calls. And please as well amend your profile to a more realistic one.
Needles to say that I will mention this experience to my GP, asking him the next time, to provide me with a more reliable clinic.

Had a very bad experience just on Monday. The receptionist was very helpful and kind however the lady that did the ultrasound for my mum was very rude and unprofessional, I don't know her name as she didn't introduce herself. Yet after the ultrasound my mum had pains on her belly we chechked then we found that she got bruises on her belly.very dissapointed

I’ve called maybe 20 times in the last 2 weeks and not one have they answered my call. I’ve also submitted an online inquiry for an appointment and they never responded. I’m not sure how they run the practice but at this point I can’t understand how they’re taking appointments. Already terrible service

Super poor experience.booked online and in the end said unsuccessful.
I went there wait for one hour and then asked them when is ready to go. The have lunch break so need to wait another one hour.waste time and bad experience.
Not recommend.

Great service and lovely staff.
Went for an x-ray (walk in, no appointment) and while still filling the forms was called out. So quick. Staff were all lovely and helpful specially Jess (I think) who took the x-ray.

I am writing to relay to you a poor client experience.

On Wednesday afternoon, I called your clinic to make an appointment for an x-ray. The gentleman who answered the phone told me that your clinic accepts walk-ins, and that I would be welcome to come in on Thursday or Friday.

Today is Friday, and as advised I walked in. The lady at the desk, Lois, asked whether I had an appointment. I told her no, and relayed the conversation I’d had earlier: that your clinic accepts walk-ins. She asked if I had a referral, which I produced for her on my phone.

She told me it’s not good enough, and that I can make an appointment.

I asked her why, as I was given the impression your clinic accepts walk-ins.

She rolled her eyes at me and told me to email the referral to this very same email address, and informed me once more that I can make an appointment.

I asked “are you telling me you don’t accept walk-ins? ”

She said “No, I’m just giving you all the options. Why are you being this way? ”

After eventually taking my details and sending me to the waiting area, she followed me out to the waiting area from behind her desk to say in the most passive aggressive way, “I hope you have a better than what you’re having now. I don’t know why you came in here like this. ”

I found this interaction quite rude and needlessly hostile.

Why did Lois feel the need to inform me about making an appointment when (a) I clearly didn’t have one; and (b) I had already made the trip to your clinic and was standing right there with my documentation?

I noticed that even her colleague, who sat to her right, shot her a glance and audibly whispered to her to “stop it! ”

Lois’ job is to get me triaged and into the queue, not to berate clients.

Lois is condescending and unable to read the room. She has poor rapport with your clients. I strongly suggest you provide her with the proper training in people skills before she turns off other customers.

The kind & caring, skilled staff made getting a mammogram and ultrasound as comfortable and painless as possible. Thank you to the polite receptionist, to the gentle considerate clinician doing the mammogram and to Ying, the sonographer who was so bubbly and pleasant! Great to see the positive energy!

Had a wonderful experience with the ultrasound technician at my appointment this morning. I had an abdominal ultrasound done and it was a calm, non judgemental and professional experience. I cant remember the name of who looked after me but she should be highly commended on her bedside manner which was wonderful.

I am a larger person and have previously had terrible experiences and made to feel awful about my body. As a result I have developed massive anxiety about these sorts of scans. However, I would definitely recommend coming here. I felt so comfortable and it has really helped me. The technician made sure I was comfortable and checked in with me all the time. Thank you so much.

We had the best experience at Qscan - Top Ryde yesterday. Priscilla was my son’s (10yo) hero! Her super powers were patience and compassion. He is an anxious over thinker. He had to do a CT scan and what should’ve taken less than 5mins took over an hour long. The entire time Priscilla was amazing with my son - In order to allay his fears, she answered ALL his many questions, showed him how the machine worked and even pinky swear to him that it won’t hurt or harm him. He was particularly concerned about the radiation and that was just a catalyst for him being scared of the entire ordeal. To this mum - Priscilla was a godsend. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and caring nature.

I am KIN, thank you letter To: QSCAN RYDE, Dr JEFF CHAN listened to me very patiently when I was doing Ultrasound, and explained to me in detail, carefully checked all the parts and comforted me all the time, He is the best doctor I have met in my decades of medical treatment, and I believe that any patient will receive the best service under his work. When I arrived at the clinic, Mrs. Receptionst Doris enthusiastically and patiently helped me transfer the doctor’s introduction letter from my mobile phone into the clinic’s computer, and helped me to successfully register and wait for the physical examination. She is a good and enthusiastic Receptionst, I am very happy to see her for treatment. I am very grateful to her. This is a trustworthy and good clinic. 3/12/22

My wife recently had an ultrasound with Alisha and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked into her office, we felt at ease and comfortable. Alisha was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, explaining the process in detail and answering all of my questions. The ultrasound itself was quick and painless, and Alisha was able to provide clear and detailed images of my baby. She also took the time to show me the different features of the ultrasound and explain what they meant. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and I would highly recommend Alisha to anyone in need of an ultrasound.

If you're looking for a clinic that takes 3 full days to respond to the online booking form and phone call (which is answering machine only), and then calls finally to ask "are you still looking for an x-ray? ", then this is your clinic!

Got the difficult X-ray done for my wife. The reception and the clinical staff went out of their way and provided excellent service. Sincere thanks to them. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

Been here 3x now for my antenatal ultrasounds. The US techs are always so lovely, but what really makes a difference here is the reception staff, usually most places reception are so rude. The staff here have been friendly and polite at all my visits. I work in healthcare myself so understand just how important this is. Very happy to pay for their services.

Probably the worst experience I've had regarding an xray. The x-ray was through Workers Comp and after the insurance company emailed Qscan twice they still wouldn't accept it because the emails that were personally sent to Qscan didn't address the name of the company. A complete joke. Definitely wouldn't recommend an xray from here ever.

Booked a ultrasound in they said would bulk bill got there and now want 270.00. Waste of time should of been told on phone. Went somewhere else they bulked billed.never again.

Attempted to book an ultrasound for my patriod gland over the phone and the rude lady told me that I should re look at my referral and call back to make an appointment as that’s unlikely to be an ultrasound. I was looking at my referral 10min before I made the call, Im not stupid, I know what my referral was for but she refused to make an appointment all together because she didn’t believe me. What kind of service is that?
