Kelly came out intially to do a measure and quote. I wanted Duette shades as I needed something to block out the heat / cold and light. Kelly sent me a quote to my email pretty much right away and I sent the deposit over straight away as well. The wait was about 4 weeks and my blinds were then installed. Installation was done by Mark and Adam who were both very professional and very helpful. I would recommend QiShades to anyone! I’m happy with the product and service

My new blinds are beautiful. They make the rooms perfect with a soft lift all the time. I wasn't sure about how dark they would be at night, but they do the job better than I imagined.
And as a bonus, the two men who installed the blinds were super fast and very friendly. Definitely 5 star

The whole process for ordering curtains and blinds was very smooth. Came around to do the initial quote, returned to do an accurate measurement and then finally to do the install. Was on time at every step and the whole process was completed in 2 months. Very happy with the service and outcome.

My order got mixed up by an employee who left before delivery but Michelle and Mark went above and beyond to rectify this for us. Mark and his team did an excellent job installing the Duette Lightlock. They stayed and readjusted the blinds until I was satisfied that not a single ray of light could come through as I am a very light sleeper. I highly recommend Qishades for their exceptional customer service.

We placed an order for several shutters and roller blinds along with two large outdoor blinds, order in excess of $22k. Payment for shutters and blinds made in full and installation fine however we had major issues with the outdoor blinds. Qi advised outdoor blinds were ready to be installed and required remaining 50% payment be made to confirm the installation. Payment transferred and installation confirmed on the Friday for the following Monday however 30 minutes prior to appointment time Monday morning we received a text to advise installation had been cancelled with no further information. After requesting details we were advised that the installer was unwell however there were others available and installation would be completed within the next day or two. Qi Shades then stopped communicating, one week later we were still chasing updates, receiving three vastly different stories from staff. Eventually we found out that the blinds had not even been manufactured and motors for the blinds were not in the country with no ETA in sight. Qi knowingly requested full payment for items that had not and could not be manufactured.

The staff at Qi continued to avoid communicating with us so with no indication of when (pushing well into the new year now) the blinds would be manufactured, we cancelled and requested a refund to which they agreed. Qi then made it extremely difficult telling us on four separate occasions that the refund had been processed when it had not. Eventually, upon pointing out that they were in breach of Australian Consumer Law they somehow managed the transfer in 15 minutes.

We felt very disappointed in the way we were treated by Qi. We are Northbridge locals and always try to support local businesses and wherever possible opt for locally produced goods however in return simply expect a little honesty and communication both of which were significantly lacking.

After refunding us the manager Tony emailed wanting to discuss our experience on the phone, we advised that we were more than happy to discuss and would welcome his call however more than three weeks later there has still been no contact.

We would definitely suggest using caution with this company based on our experience.

To prepare for the hot Australian summer, we recently decided to install 3 Luxaflex window blinds instead of an air-conditioner, doing our part to fight global warming. Due to Kelly's effort, our customer experience was excellent! Thank you!:)
