Walked in today to find another book to buy I always buy books from the store Louise the lady working there asked me several times within a min if I need help clearly wasn’t trying to be helpful as as said I can’t read the books when I was just skimming through to see what it’s about as a book worm usually does she told me if don’t buy the book I’m not allowed to be looking at it then when I complained to the manager man at the front he said they are allowed to do that I’m actually disappointed because I like to visit the store and im a customer for many years

Love how there is more manga there now! Its my local go to for when i want the next chapter of my favourite mangas. Staff are always super kind and chatty.

Called the store today to ask if I was able to order a book in time for Christmas. Spoke to an employee by the name of James who advised me that they wouldn’t have the book I was after before Christmas. James then gave me such honest, helpful and detailed instructions as to how I might place an order with a few other suppliers instead, due to the time frame I needed the book by. Will definitely be visiting in store to buy a few more books solely based on that wonderful interaction.

I visited the Store yesterday for the first time, There were three ladies on they all asked me how i was! Super friendly, They asked if i needed and help I said no and they let me be. They had a great range of the books. The staff were super friendly and in a good mood which was a good vibe. I will be going back, also they are well priced and offer a good loyalty program. Thank you to the three ladies who made my first experience in store a good one!

Today my son had just recieved his new glasses and was excited to be able to read without struggling to see the words. We decided to stop by your store at 4pm and purchase his first children's novel. Within 3 minutes of us entering your store, a book had caught his eye, so he decided to take a quick look inside the book. Within a couple of minutes of this an employee lady of yours wearing glasses came up to us and told us quite abruptly that you can't just stand here and read the books (this was literally with 3 minutes of him lookin) I dont know how quick of a reader she thought my 9 year old was to read a whole book within 5 minutes but to be told this only after max 3min is incredibly terrible customer service. We're living in times where not many kids are excited to pick up a book and read and here we have a grown woman discouraging my child to go into a book store and just have a quick look before he made his decision on which book to purchase. We were made to look and feel like we were a couple of people looking to get a free read which tbh was quite embarrassing. I understand that there might be certain people who do this but she could have come up to us at least and told us discretely rather than across the room were everyone could hear. Very poor judgement on her behalf. I've been in this book store and bought many books in the past which i now regret after the treatment we received today. Absolutely will not be purchasing from you guys again.

Amazing Staff, Huge Variety of Manga and priced $15-20 per volume, I go here once a week they always have plenty of stock as for other books I suggest going up to big w or down to Kmart as they price books for a better price

Love the books on sale they advertise outside the shop. I can't resist buying a book for my daughter every time I walk past.

Customer service was awful, the employees are sometimes really snappy. Also the books are pretty overpriced: (

I've only been here once but I remember an employee looking really exasperated when I was rechecking the price of a book with her, little things like this stick with you, I'm not coming here again. Also the same books that you have to pay 20 dollars for at QBD you can get for 10 dollars elsewhere (like Big W) so not worth it.

Great shop! Very Helpful Staff as well! The young lady with the long hair helped me the other day, she was very helpful. The staff are funny and and they tend to be able to order a lot of stuff in! Highly recommend!

Staff are so incredibly rude and incompetent the only good member of staff is the manager who has been at this location for years nowt the rest of the staff though on repeat visits I’m growing to hate, it makes me want to take my business to kinokuniya in the city instead for manga which tells you how bad it is. I ordered given volume 6 like 4 months ago and they keep telling me it’s release has been delayed but I looked online and it hasn’t the old hag at the counter just won’t order any, once even one of the ladies from the counter walked up to me in the manga section and said I couldn’t crouch down to get a book even though their shelves go to the floor! Stupid honestly qbd books Liverpool your on your last chance for me I’ve been a loyal customer for 5 or so years now.
And it’s cramped to especially in the manga section especially as I always wear a backpack.

My favourite in-store book store. Louise always helps me out and gives me great recommendations too! Shop is always tidy and well organised compared to other book stores I have visited.

They got all the best and most updated books in store, fair priced.
The staff are super friendly and helpful, they can help ordering books and it takes around a week to arrive in your hand.
The store is clean and tidy, my current fav bookstore to browse.

A very bust store with gifts and all the books you would need, I especially and personally have purchased some great gifts, books, and many tech and optical devices just for me, I find the specials good value for quality products. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, I have been a customer many times ALL VERY GOOD

Sorry Don't buy much books now but Yes they have good books. I used to buy when kids were young not now.

Great experience here! Just walked out. Asked James for a recommendation and talked me through a heap of books until I found something I liked. Definitely recommend this place for the great customer service and range of books!

Staff are approachable, friendly and eager to help. Great selection and if they don't have it in stock, have a very simple ordering process. A downside to their great selection however is how cramped the store is, backpack wearers, and pram pushers beware.

One of the few gems of bookstores left in the den called westfield. Good variety, great service.
