Qartaba Homes

I bought land from Qartaba Homes in December 2014 in Mount Cottrell project supposed to be received in December 2018. I paid off all land costs and development charges as per the payment plan. In 2022 I was told that the project was about to be completed and then they asked for an additional $65400 of development charges. After paying the additional $65400 I am still waiting for them to transfer the land into my name. They do not respond to my lawyer. I reported them to Consumer Affairs Victoria still nothing was done. I am now in the process of escalating this issue to the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal to force them to transfer the land into my name.

I Trusted them with my money and paid for a land 2015 for Mt Cottrell project, supposed to be handed over by 2019, finally confirmed 9 months ago ready to hand over, but after this aghain like always no customer service, no response, you dont know whats happening with your hard earned money and still not received anything. If I have invested the same amount 2015 else where buying land it would have much better growth anyway, I heard this guys building mosque and talk about Halal investment and Reebba free, but not keeping promise and play with people's Amanah, Lots of people withdraw money and they didn't pay any dividend to them and keeping all the profit for themselves- They do it intentionally so people loose patience and pull out from it after 4-5 year but they already have double the money for themselves, how this is justifiable. Remember about Hakkul Ibad (People Right) and we will certainly stop you crossing the bridge. I encourage everyone should boycott this company and take legal action together. The way Efsol got closed, this company is bigger scammer than them, specially all the directors including Kashif Aziz, Khurram Jawaid and Wajahat, all should be socially boycotted and should not be allowed in any Islamic Program. Please fixup your service when there is time

Bought a block in Box Hill 2016. Paid all monies as per schedule. They promised the delivery in early 2021 and asked for development charges. I paid all development charges on time (Late 2020 & Early 2021).
Since they received the develpmental charges, they did not bother to respond to the calls and queries.very poor response.
They always try to narrate a different story for delays. Last time they told that they had a pending issue with ATO. This was 6-8 months back. ATO does not take that long to resolve the issues. These people do not fulfill their commitments and bring another lie to justfy previous one.

Bought a land from these people in July 2015 from Box hill project and the sunset date was supposed to be December 2019. We are in October 2022 now and still the project is far from completion. In addition, the size area of my land has been reduced by more than 11%. These people are very unprofessionals and very careless. Their business should not exist in this beautiful country. Me and my family suffered a lot from these people who use the name of islam for their benifits.

Is anyone else still waiting for Box Hill NSW "The croft" to register/exchange since 2020? We have been waiting since the start of the project and have paid in full the contract amount and still not received our land. Please reply/comment to form a group of customers in the same situation. Really need to hear from anyone in the same situation.: (

Can't answer when call. I bought land in 2014 in Box Hill still not received.when call don't pickup.invested huge money here butthey are least bothered n careless.
when we visited to see land showed us wrong land n told next year you will get it.now 2022 still not get land.very worried.please help us

My experience with Qartaba home is very impeccable. The team is very honest, hand working and friendly.

To those negative commenters are already in profits of atleast $150k + just on their land, thanks to qurtaba homes it was indeed worth the wait for "The Heritage at Riverstone"

When we have signed contract our solicitor has informed about a "SUNSET DATE / CLAUSE" which was 2 years and we got our land as per the contract signed. There were delays but it was due to many factors such as council approval, etc. Unlinke other developer who can enact the sunset clause, cancel the contract and sell it at higher profits, Qurtaba Homes were honest and would never do this, so THANK YOU

Search Qartaba 149 Riverstone road Orion consulting. There you will find the evidence of their applications for developing a Muslim college in 149 Riverstone Road, the Palms Estate. Could this be the reason why the land they have sold off at this estate or 158 Riverstone road has not been registered? It is being used as security? Or it has some sort of impact on the development of the college? Or, they simply want us to pull out so they can take it back to the market and earn more? Whats the truth. They once applied for it to be a Muslim only community some ten or so years ago …

Houses are being built all around. It is not because they are waiting on council to approve the land registration.

If you’ve been waiting a long time I believe there’s legislation that has been introduced to help like applying to the courts.

This is dishonest, unethical and un-Australian. Allam Homes, Eden Brae would not do business this way

Full of lies, unprofessional attitude, no compassion, eventually blame us when we question the registration date, stuck with this for 10 years now. Worst decision of our life to have put our hard earned money here. Just want to get out of this quagmire as we are truly fed up.

After waiting long time my land finally registered in 158 Riverstone Road (heritage) couple of months ago. Horrible. This sort of company should not be exist in Australia. I suffered lot.

Bought a block of land in Box Hill from Qartaba Homes in June 2019. We were told the block would be registered in November that year. Two years later we are still waiting with no communication or ownership of the delays. Their office is very unprofessional and are no help. After two years of constant lies of completion timelines and frustration, I couldn't recommend Quartaba Homes any less. I would rate 0 out of 5 stars if that was possible.

They are greedy scammers looking to screw people over for every last dollar they have. No customer service at all!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My elderly parents bought this land and have been trying to acquire for a year now and they taking advantage of the vulnerable elderly

As an attorney working on behalf of a client who has purchased land from them, I can vouch that they definitely have to be one of the most unprofessional companies, I personally have dealt with and I hope by looking at the frustration of others they realise the agony they have caused and fix their act up

We purchased land in Box Hill in 2019 and are still waiting for registration to occur. At the end of each month we contact their conveyancer only to receive a response suggesting registration will occur the following month. We are still awaiting a response on the most recent promise. Is anyone else in the same position?
