Purtle Park Adventure Playground reviews
25 Found this place great for the children to burn off some energy.
Quite a few different activities, well presented.
We are lucky enough to have family that live in Mulwala so we regularly visit the area, Purple Park, is without a doubt, one of the best parks we have ever visited, situated on the banks of Lake Mulwala, suitable for all age groups, even adults, bbq area, etc. In love with this park.
Beautiful place, only thing keeping me to giving it a 5 star is the maintenance where facilities like door locks in the toilet, the small beach and small things are not maintained that they are either malfunctioning or broken/missing
Didn't use it but did explore, amazing. Kids paradise. BBQ and loo avail right on the lake (playground has a fenced in area for "escapees". Vintage steam train engine beside playground.
Great lake side park. A must visit if staying in the area. Playground caters for tots as well as older kids.
Very nice playground, we haven't had luck with weather.but still kids enjoyed it.not many kids around.also beautiful lake.
Such a fantastic park for people of all ages. Bbq's, toilets, a huge playground area and even a section for young kids to swim and play in the water safely.
Not bad.
The little prickles throughout the grassed area tho ate very annoying. Everything else is well done.
What a fantastic place for kids!
The bin was overflowing when we were there so the council needs to be on top of that. But the play ground is fantastic!
This park is a must see for children and adults alike with superb play equipment, bbq's and toilets. Sitting alongside lake Mulwalla is beautiful. Cheers.
Head to Purtle Park Adventure Playground on the banks of Lake Mulwala for an outing the whole family can enjoy. This family-friendly park contains a free-standing all-abilities play system with attractive modern designs, overlooking the water. The park encourages risk taking and problem solving for older children, with sky cabins and swaying walkways 5 metres above the ground.
Officially opened in December 2020, a toddler play area, fenced play area, water and vertical play areas, a basket swing, the pelican nest and a flying fox are among the many fun attractions to be found at the park.
Pack a picnic or make use of the undercover barbecue facilities, or make the short walk to one of the delicious bakeries or cafes found North of the Murray. This is where there's more to life.
Great park for young and older. Enclosed area for toddlers. Good toilet facilities. Clean.
It's a great playground facility now.
New BBQ's and restrooms. Terrific views across the lake.
Fun for all ages with something for everyone.
It was however disappointing to find when my little boy needed a nappy change the change table was missing and appeared to have been removed from the toilet block
Extremely well designed and a excellent place to take your children. The amenities are clean and tidy and the area is extremely well maintained.
One of the best playground we've been to in Melbourne. The best view!
2 areas for older and younger kids.
First area is a high rope based climbing structure and slide. Flying fox and bucket swing. There is also a antique train for kids to climb on.
The second area is fully fenced and has toilets and change facilities.
Sand and splash play
Covered bbq area
It so much you can do here ie fishing, playing, bbq, swimming ant the lake. Having spot for children to play
Good for kids of all ages. Separate playgrounds for bigger kids and little ones. Just wish there was more shade over the little kids playground.
A really nice spot for all, especially children, a great playground, BBQ and toilet facilities
This park has been a great addition to our district. The grandchildren (7 and 2.5) want to go every day. Loving the big swing and the flying foxes. Would be 5 stars but needs more shade. Especially over the metal slides which are burning hot on sunny days.
