I had a wonderful experience here as a patient needing ultrasound-guided injections. Receptionist Melissa, sonographer Glenn & radiologist Dr Duncan Snodgrass were all fantastic. I highly recommend others to come here for any radiology needs.

I have been going to PRP for all my cancer checks and any scans for over 5 years now. My Specialist prefers the expertise of these people as they always get spot on what he needs. I initially was sent to my local Imaging group (not PRP) I went back 3 times for failed ultrasounds. My Specialist sent me to PRP Maitland and they got the right result first time. The staff are very professional, reassuring and always pleasant. The 2 hour round trip from where I live is well worth it. Thankyou

Today I went in to get a knee MRI, we were quick in and out and the lady at the reception was amazing.

I didn’t have the correct referral but instead of turning me away, she rang my Doctor and got it emailed to them to sort it all out.

Total I had an injection into my s1 root nerve.
The last two from prior herniated disk was absolutely agonising. This time even tho larger the one that performed the injection as painful as it was I must say it was more bearable. I don’t know what he done to make it less agonising but thank you. I was so scared of a repeat of last time. Maybe it was because he was quicker. Or it wasn’t to close to the nerve. Thank you. And you are a gentleman. Thank you for walking out to the car with myself and my two lady friends. I wish I could get your name as I would like you yo do my procedure for if I need it another time. Now if there was another dr involved with the injection I thank you deeply. I couldn’t see much but i am ever so grateful.

No fault at all with the sonographers on duty. My complaint lies with the reception staff.

I had a morphology (20w) scan that couldn't be completed, due to bub not moving into the correct position that the sonographer wanted. I rescheduled to have the scan completed in the next week and the reception staff let me go on my way, without collecting payment from me. Throughout the afternoon, I had staff from PRP Maitland call me to collect payment over the phone multiple times. I refused to pay, because I was not comfortable giving card details over the phone and the scan was incomplete. Staff demanded payment on that day and I requested them to email the invoice. The invoice said 7 days from date of issue, so I followed the invoice instructions. I paid the invoice on the day before the due date and communicated that payment was done via email. When I returned for the follow-up scan, reception asked for payment and refused to believe that I had paid. I gave the receipt no.for the BPay transaction and they still pushed the issue for payment.

Reception staff need to do better with communicating with one another, pay attention to their invoice policies and pay attention to customers. Multiple phone calls in one day to chase up payment for an incomplete job, before the invoice due date is downright rude.

Horrible service. They missed out on a cyst on my brain in numerous brain scans I had done there Then they claim they had a “specialist” review the scan and find nothing there when I had better trained professionals literally point out to them, and circle the image with what they missed out, and they still refuse to provide me with a reviewed report, which is actually my right. They don’t let you speak with the superior, they say they will talk to the person in your behalf, so you have to be pushy, and the superior itself is rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend, I had to leave the country to get proper imaging. I wasn’t able to get treatment to my condition because my report said there was nothing wrong. I was actually told that if I “believe” there’s something there I should seek legal support, as if I had to “believe” in a brain cyst for it to be real. No, it’s not a matter of “believe”, it’s a fact, it’s there, I was born with it, PRP missed it, numerous times, it then bled out and it almost killed me. But of course no one took any accountability for it, they just insinuated I was faking it even though I have official reports of my conditions and all.
I would never be returning to this imaging place nor would ever recommend this.

Walked in for a plain chest X-ray today, no appointment necessary.
Was seen and out in under 10 minutes.

I visited the practice for the first time yesterday (19th July) and was attended by Ellie for a mammogram and Tahlia for an U/S. Both were exceptionally professional, pleasant and efficient. I have been to several radiology practices over many years and this experience was by far the best.
There was no time wasted and the films were handed to me immediately after the procedures were completed. Thank you - I will be back next year!

Can't email scan results but was encouraged to drive an hour across two LGA's and go to the practice in person and they would print it for me, despite being in Covid lockdown!

Sad to say I am disappointed with PRP Maitland. Both times I have experienced a least a forty minute wait, when there are obviously staff members down the hallway chatting to one another. We were only seen for our appointment when I enquired at reception. When my daughter had her 20 week ultrasound there, the technician pretty much gave away the gender with a smart mouth comment, even though she informed her they wanted a surprise. Will not be returning.

Staff was friendly helpful even organised all the correct forms so my appointment could go ahead thankyou

I had Simon for my sonographer yesterday and he was AMAZING. Set me right at ease, totally kept me in the loop, very personable. I can get pretty bad anxiety, but thanks to him, I was totally comfortable. A very positive experience, thank you so much!

I recently had a CT guided steroid injection. I was very anxious and in a lot of pain. The staff at the front desk and the medical staff that looked after me and the doctor that performed the procedure were amazing, empathetic and very professional. Thankyou
