PRP Diagnostic Imaging reviews
45 Hi I recently had an MRI done on my lumbar spine at the Norwest Rooms I was told over the phone that I didn't need to take a valium as I would not have my head inside.so I became quite anxious and upset. One of the lovely staff by the name of Siarn spoke to me and apologised for the confusion. Siarn went out of her way to calm me down and make me feel at ease.so thankyou Siarn for making a bad situation tolerable.
Regards Dianne Mamo

Disappointing service, had a 7: 20pm appointment and ended up going in for the scheduled test at 8: 45pm. No explanation provided by staff.
PRP @ Norwest - I had a mammogram, breast ultrasound and an ultrasound guided breast biopsy. The imaging team were very supportive and provided effective patient-centred communication. Despite the discomfort this type of imaging entails the team made me feel comfortable and provided a smooth and gentle experience.
Had the most welcoming experience with the whole team today. Belinda at reception was absolutely lovely and understanding. The lady supporting with putting in mums cannula (didn’t catch her name) was an absolute angel, super caring and kind. Overall very professional, friendly and kind. Really impressed with the overall service. Keep up the good work!
I’m a returning patient and always experience a high level of customer service. Admin staff are friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Siarn who is so kind, reassuring and her gorgeous smile is always so pleasant to see!
Don't even bother sending a request form to them. After 2 emails following up they still didn't get a doctor to review the form to make an appointment. It has been 5 weeks. Utterly ridiculous
I have just been to PRP Norwest for a scan and am super impressed with the staff there. It is my 4th visit for various reasons and every member of the team at PRP Norwest are so friendly and helpful.
In particular Belinda has gone out of her way to accommodate my appointments and changes that I have requested. Belinda is so kind and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly.
All business should be friendly and kind like the staff at PRP Norwest.just saying.
The counter staff are always smiling and helpful. Olivia and Lisa are the best, as my mum and I had been there a couple of times, and then asked about how my mum was doing. The staa at PRP care and show it. Time wise and compared to other imaging practices, they are very knowledgeable and quick.
Wonderful and all because a lovely young man named Michael. So caring and compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly, how blessed was I today to have Michael assigned to me, I already was so anxious and
I’ve had many many mri and scans over the last 12 years and never come
Across someone like this young man.management … he needs a well deserved pay rise. Thank you so much again for looking out for me and Just like archangel Michael you definitely saved me today, may God bless you, you will know who I am ️
Such lovely girls at reception. Jen looked after me, highly professional but such a beautiful soul whose kindness and calming manner meant so much to me.
Booked at Norwest for 7pm. Received a phone call to arrive by 6: 50pm.
Arrived at 6: 30pm to ensure that I wasn't late. They made me wait over an hour due to a mistake on their end. Had a patient go in before me due to a mistake (patient arrived much later than me). Turns out the patient took my timeslot Not happy or impressed.
Hi, My recent experience with PRP imaging, my invoice from emergency section on 13/12/2022 makes me feel very disappointed! Since the prp staff said my item no cant be bulk billed as the services was done on saturday afternoon around 2.30pm and normal hours cease at 2pm onwards and they simply cant bulk bill. I had no other way except to agree but i asked them if i can at least pay my bill in few instalments as im unable to pay at once! But it was flatly refused by someone in prp office in Norwest hospital! We always go to PRP but this time due to some unexpected expenses we said we can authorise direct debit to the office as fortnightly payment when we receive our Age Pension! This has saddened me extensively as i did expect some help from such an esteemed organisation like prp towards patients and their circumstances.jyothi sethuram (disappointed patient)
Please note this imaging centre is inside Norwest medical centre and outside there will be no mention of PRP. Advanced booking is need for imaging. However, waiting time is usually very less compared to others centres. Staff are very helpful. Parking ticket will be paid by PRP itself but good luck finding the parking space as it's usually occupied. My recommendation is ONLY if patient CAN walk then park inside circa and walk it's 5 min walk. Otherwise drop patient, park the vehicle and join back.
Had ct on my right foot from a fusion. The report states left foot fusion also my fusion has cracked and the report states its healed.
By Dr makeham he has failed to see it after it has been pointed out.
I've contacted them 2 days and they still can't see it, everyone that saw the hard copies have noticed including my specialist.
I would strongly recommend anyone wanting to get exray for a diagnosis dont go there you will be disappointed.
I have been there recently twice for 3rd trimester- ultrasound and both the times got it done by Rhonda. She is excellent and the best person I have come across for ultrasound. I have been to many other centres and no one can match up to Rhonda.
So caring, gentle, and patient with her clients. She will talk through and explain everything that is going on during the ultrasound. I will miss coming to you, once this pregnancy is over.
Thank you for your service and kind words always.
After 30 days still I am waiting for a response from Norwest re my question. I made a call and after 36 minute she said has no answer but gave me an email to admin and ask my question. I did and never received any answer. So after a week I start chatting. But she said to upload the referral form or email to imaging department. I did both twice but no one responded during last 30 dsys. Seems Norwest is very disorganised or do not care. When its management can not manage a simple task or email then how can they manage their medical system or department.
I went for an MRI scan just over a week ago. I have to say I was extremely nervous but the radiologists who put in my cannula, showed me to the change room, performed the scan and then set the instructions for me was absolutely amazing. They made the scan extremely comfortable and actually got my cannula in first try - I'm a hard case usually it takes 10+ minutes and multiple tries. I can't thank them enough. I will call at a later date to also give a formal compliment. I do not remember their name but I am very happy with their work and professionalism.
I had a lovely experience with Lisa, I came in for a shoulder US and she was lovely from the moment she called my name. I have had bad experiences in the past at other companies but she was very informative and helpful. Thank you!
I went to PRP at Norwest Private Hospital twice. Both times I was asked to arrive 30 minutes before my exam, and both times I was called in late, 40 to 50 minutes after I’ve arrived. Both times I had to ask reception (which by the way were pretty rude) to check how many people were in front of me and how long it would take for me to be called in. Why do you book a specific time and ask for people to arrive 30 minutes earlier if you don’t honour your appointment times? I had the same exam done at PRP in Castle Hill and it was a completely different experience, no wait times, no delays, no problems at all. On a positive note, the person running the exam had the opposite attitude of your reception, he was very nice and professional. I unfortunately cannot recommend PRP Norwest based on both experiences, but I hope your leadership sees this review and try to address these punctuality/overbooking issues.
Returned a missed call and MARTHA was rude! I had no idea why the call and wanted to know why my address was needed and she just continued to ignore my questions and thanked me for confirming my address.
I had to stop her mid sentence after failing to get a reason for the address and she tried to end the phone call. Had to ask more than 4 TIMES! Unbelievable service Martha! I hope not all the workers are as rude as her
