Absolutely would NEVER go to this agency for ANYTHING! After my partner passing away suddenly last year, i was forced to having to find a new home urgently for myself and my son and found myself applying thru this agent. I paid $10 a week on top of the asking price as well as six months rent up front to secure the property. They don’t accept either cash or bank transfer, so i was forced to get a money order from the post office (at my expense of course) to pay the deposit. April (the agent i was dealing with initially) was lovely … very helpful and accommodating. When coming out for routine inspections, April sent me emails thanking me for taking such good care of the property and appeared so grateful with how clean and well looked after the house was. On two occasions during my 12 months there, I was advised someone would be there the next day to do a property valuation (less than 24 hours notice) and while I know legally I need to be given more notice, on both occasions I agreed without complaining. Was notified that the owner wanted to move into the property shortly after the valuations, and i would need to vacate (plenty of notice given). Long story short, on vacating the property, my family came over (my dad does property maintenance and my mum is a cleaner) to help me clean it. I have never ever lost a single cent of any bond i have paid on any property, nor failed any inspection, never been one day late in rent - and I always laughed saying i wish I could find a tenant like me to rent one of my properties! Anyway, on leaving the property, April was no longer working for them (no wonder why!) and had been replaced by Jessica - who has the worst people skills in history. Very young, arrogant and terribly rude, I was heading interstate (unfortunately Jessica was aware of this as I didn’t think anything of it and told them as i was dropping off the keys). As soon as I crossed the QLD border, she contacted me with a ridiculous list of things that had failed inspection and pretty much extorted the bejeesus out of me ……. Absolutely NOTHING was considered normal “wear and tear” …. Even the presence of 3 weeds down the side of the house was noted, and I was blamed for using the clothesline because there wasn’t the same amount of tension in the lines as when it was brand new…. After to-ing and fro-ing for several weeks with broken promises, delays, blaming trades for being too busy to attend and quote, I was eventually charged $840 (which they said was doing me a favour LOL) for “damages” …. I found a cleaner that would go back and fix the issues for $150, but they wouldn’t allow access to MY cleaner (they initially said i could use my own cleaner but then changed their mind and refused access), they had to use THEIR cleaner, who charged $400 and a handyman to replace the screen on the screen door that they say was damaged by my dog at a cost of $440! I was absolutely taken advantage of 100% …. This is the most dishonest real estate in Sydney (i have dealt with many, but never encountered anything like this). The positive reviews could only be friends or people that dealt with them before this current group of staff were there. Honestly, stay clear! To take advantage of a person in my position in a pretty low act, and hopefully karma will take care of the rest. 0/10 would never EVER recommend this agent.

Cant tell how terrible and dodgy this agent is, landlord and tenant, stay away from this agent, otherwise, you will lose money and regret a lot
