One word - OUTSTANDING. The only agency we found who were about understanding the needs of the owner and matching them to the tenant rather than going through the motions so they could tick boxes. Property manager Ruby Flynn-Edwards has been managing our property now for several months and I can say, with certainty, that she has been our best manager thus far. She is extremely responsive and always one step ahead of me insofar as anticipating problems before they arise. I would highly recommend Ruby to any prospective property owner looking for a first class manager.

I can only speak of Rob McGoldrick his Honesty. Punctuality and Encouragement led us to sell our house within a week. Rob restored our faith in Real Estate Agents as the entire time it was all about us. Thankyou Rob I would not hesitate in Recommending you to any of my friends and colleagues.

I rented a property through them and initially everything was ok. During the renting period the communication with the agent Kylie Johnson wasn't easy and to get things done lots of patience was required (to say the least). By the end Kylie's double standards while performing the reports was alarming and her authoritative and arbitrary approach is concerning. Avoid this real-estate at all cost.

Our agent from professionals Ballina was negative & continually putting our home down & with that continually putting our price down to such a disappointing amount. Not a great experience. We changed to One Agency and we sold quick and for over $30,000 more.

We've sold two properties through the Ballina Professionals and found them extremely friendly, accurate in their assessment and supportive throughout the sale process.

Prior to selling our properties, they also managed their rental and over the last ten years, they have been extremely capable and efficient.

My partner and I have been delighted with the professional service we received from the team at The Professionals of Ballina. Peter has been a thorough gentleman to work with and sold our house quickly and for the price we hoped for. We highly recommend this agency.

Avoid at all costs. I rented my property (2017-2019) through the professionals. Everything seemed ok until the keys were handed back to me. They arranged cleaning on behalf of my tenant which was not up to scratch.

I asked the professionals to organise the cleaners to come back to finish the job, “the principle” of this organisation suggested I work out a sum of money that the missed cleaning would cost to rectify to then debit from the bond. I was not happy with that because the cleaner had been paid to do a job which they failed to do. Not to mention the tenants already paid for this cleaner to attend.

This was not the first below average trade that the professionals organised throughout this lease for over the top rates.

After every excuse under the sun and being yelled at by the “principle real estate agent” within my own home, he finally agreed to have the cleaner contact me to organise a time to come back. The cleaner couldn’t come back within a reasonable time (before bond was due to be returned) so I decided to clean myself and found that I was left with a serious mould problem in my kitchen and bathroom.

Additionally I asked the the “principle real estate agent” to provide the details for the licensee so that I could file an official complaint however he was obstructive with this and would not provide the details. His terms were that he demanded an apology from me for calling him a liar (but there was no name calling, just complaint based on his and his teams conduct). He never gave me the details and gloated that my complaint would be the first ever filed against him in his career. I wonder why.

Additionally the staff turnover was concerning - I lost count in how many property managers I was assigned.

Stay well away. These guys are professional at buck passing, (yes) telling fibs and bullying.

This review is based on my personal experience of employing The Professionals Ballina as my property manager over an approximate 2 year period within 2017-2019.

Your response is false, more lies and a formal complaint to fair trading has been made. This is especially appropriate for anyone who is dealing with an agent who will not pass on details of the licensee to pursue as complaints remain on the fair trading system indefinitely.

The agent who lead me to believe he was the principal is actually just an agent (confirmed by fair trading), more lies.

The serious mould issue I am referring to mould grown into my timber flooring due to lack of cleaning in the kitchen especially under the slide out oven (refer to photos). The mould has ruined the solid timber flooring. Of course it is the responsibility of the occupant to clean under the oven. The professionals organised a cleaner on their behalf. Your cleaners did not do their job and instead of organising them to come back you yell at me in my home.

Me asking you to leave when you yelled at me (not the other way around, more lies!) is not me becoming aggressive. No one should tolerate feeling threatened by any other person. I felt unsafe and wanted you to leave. We both know how you behaved and I hope you feel embarrassed and ashamed (obviously enough to completely turn what happened on me) that you never do this to another person.

Both Kendall & Jan were exceptionally proficient in keeping us informed with thesale of our house, they always made us feel secure in the knowledge we wouldsell & be able to move on to our next property. At no time did we feelpressure, and we must admit we are missing their regular chat. We wish them allthe best in the future & would certainly recommend them to any personrequiring an agent.

We have purchased a property through them and have had them manage it for many years and can only speak very highly of the team there.
