Prince Alfred Park reviews
58Nice outdoor pool. You can swim as a workout or just chill in the water in the leisure lanes. Heaps of space to sunbathe too.
Best park in surry hills with a public outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court and cricket pitch as well as kids play area and picnic area
I love that park and swimming pool there. There are lots of things to do. It seems like central park. However, government should take care for junkies and homeless people.
The Adidas Sydney Runners club includes a 5km circuit for the Boost group. The park is well maintained.
This park has open exercise equipments, good jogting track, basketball and tennis courts.
Good green grass though can be maintained properly.
Great potential but utterly neglected. Three of the four swings are missing entirely the chain and seat. Grass is knee high. Tractors left in half renovated fenced off chunks of land. Sad that tax money is so poorly managed here. Could be so much better with a bit of TLC.
Great park perfect for BBQ, dog friendly has tennis courts a pool but because of its location it is super popular and can get very crowded
Being next to my house is a plus but what is better than that is the easiness and comfort that it provides when I am bicycling.
This is really an oasis of green and calm in the surrounding buzz of central station, the city and surrey hills. Walks and trees and spots to sit at lunchtimes or during the day and always great coffee nearby.
Great community park with many facilities including a public swimming pool. It's always busy and especially so during the week at lunch times. Plenty of playgrounds for the kids of all ages will keep them amuzed. Close enough to the city and food and coffee can be had in nearby Surry Hills or even at the swimming pool cafe. Also has basket basket ball areas and tennis courts as well as an outdoor gym for all to use.
I love the pool. For less than 7$ you can swim, suntan, enjoy. Water is clean and pleasant temperature. The park is a bit small, but still a little green sanctuary in Central.
Rims are a little low, backboards are non-responsive however the atmosphere quite competitive and fun most of the time
The kids loved the park and there is some great workout equipment and the pools are right there in the park!
This park is dedicated to basketball, tennis, swimming and exercise There are many courts to do tennis. By the way, the swimming pool is open all year long. The park is quite romantic, with its flowers and trees. Price Alfred Park was awarded in 2013 the NSW medal at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects state awards in December 2013. Their structures are quite modern. Wow!
A wonderful expanse of green space with a large variety of activities including a bunch of courts, swimming centre, cafe and plenty of tracks and spaces to exercise, bike and run around. Great place for a bunch of games or to spend some time.
Nice little park to have an after work run in the CBD.
They also have an Olympic size swimming pool!
One of the best parks in Sydney. Love the trees and the native grasses. Wish there were more of them in the park.
Park within sydney city. Owned n maintained by the council. Well looked after by council. People rest and relax here. Great for family picnics n day out. Parking is a great problem. Best travell mode will by train n busses.
