Prestige Carports and Shade reviews
1 While the quality of the product is good the quality of the installation is very poor.
Whilst they came and did a patch-up job on some of the issues they are far from professional installers indicating no pride in their work.
I suspect those who have been happy have not taken the time to view the quality of the actual installation.
Here are issues we had (and we have photos) :
- Screws were placed in incorrect spots when installing roof sheeting. The screws showed through on the underside.
- One of the rafters were bent
- Burnt our brand new sandstone wall in 2 places of which we cannot fix as sandstone is porous. (Using a grinder with no care/protection of our property)
- Did not drill the metal for the install in one place and failed to clean up. Lucky we have pavers because there were metal filings all over our backyard! Somebody with grass would have difficulty cleaning up.
Disappointing because we wanted to support a local business but unfortunately this business has no respect in their workmanship and no respect in the property they are working at.
