I had a few years of engineering experience overseas but no local work experience. Getting the right opportunity was always going to be a huge challenge, however premium graduate placements made the journey much easier snd enjoyable. They really got a good understanding of my resume and my expectations and the overall Australian employment landscape. The team at premium graduate worked with me over several days across my resume, interview skills and general presentation. One of the highlight I have to point out of the program is the number of companies PGP is connected to, I came across other agencies who struggle with my profile but they were quick in identifying my weaknesses and polishing it so it would be suitable for the
local market. The mock interviews was another highlight where I was given a few different attempts to practice with an experienced HR, it really calmed my nerves and helped me build my confidence in a short period of time. I wouldn’t have passed those interviews I wouldn’t think without the thorough practice. This was definitely something I lacked and I believe I interview much stronger now and this well carry with me throughout my career in Australia.

Could not be more satisfied with the work that Clariz and Shaira over at Premium Graduate placements did in helping me land the right internship. What I also enjoy Is the overall atmosphere of the team and the directors are simply amazing people and have all the time for me while I get use to the work environment. I have been hanging out with the team outside of work, so it definitely feels like I have acquired not only colleagues but lifelong friends through my placement. I was fortunately enough to contribute some of my ideas to the business and they took it in a positive manner and considered my opinion and we had several sessions around how we could implement my suggestions across the business. This is rare in my home country as management tends to be very strict in terms of getting new ideas from juniors in the company, it is this type of culture which makes me feel like coming to Australian was all worth it in the end.
