I didn't like it at all! I had long hair and used the balayage technique, I asked for a shoulder-length haircut, they cut it head-to-toe, instead of painting over the roots from gray hair and just lightly refreshing the color along the length, they painted the whole head black, while the balayage technique gives off a green color! In general, I really don’t recommend going if you don’t know who to go to!

I had an amazing experience! I’m very fussy on my hair and spent ages researching on which salon to go to as I wanted a complete style change, Sophie my hair stylist was amazing exceeded beyond my expectations, she is beyond talented and I’m so happy with my hair! Will definitely be returning can’t praise this salon and Sophie enough

I had a great experience from start to finish - Frankie was warm and lovely to help make an appointment with Grant, who gave me the best haircut of my life - he is a wonderful conversationalist and extremely skilled, his way of consulting and hairdressing is top level. I really appreciate the cut, conversation and hospitality!

I’m thrilled with the cut and colour service at Oscar Oscar. Grant, Blue and the rest of the team clearly love what they do and do it to the highest possible standards. They took the time to consult with me about what I wanted for both the cut and colour and gave me great advice and a fabulous result. Each time I visit I feel like their most important customer. I’ve been going to Oscar Oscar (formally Prema) for over a decade. I love their service and attention to ensuring the experience is amazing. Recently I’ve found an amazing colourist and stylist (Anthony) who is able to do foils and cut and blow dry in record time… and I love the results! I’m now able to do cut and colour in a single sitting, where previously I had to break it up into two different appointments. Don’t forget to rebook your next appointment on the way out… saving yourself 10% (insider knowledge).

I had an appointment on New Year’s Eve. When I had difficulty parking in the car park and called them to say I maybe a couple of minutes late and I was advise my appointment wasn’t at 12: 30 pm. It was at 2 pm. After driving back to their salon for my to the 2 pm appointment which was the second time that day I was told that they had made an error and they could not do my hair which was very disappointing as it was on New Year’s Eve. I found the girl that I spoke to unapologetic and she said to me what do you expect us to do cancel other clients and put you in! I’ve been there prior for a haircut and blow dry but I will not be returning. Including all of my friends in the eastern suburbs will never go there. I spoke my sister who is a hairdresser in Queensland while driving home from the salon and she was appalled by how I was treated.

I had a hairdresser that was so incompetent and she made my hair 5 different colours when all I wanted was blonde highlights and they charged me $500 and it took 5 hours then I went back straight after because I hated it and they took another 3 hours and made it look the exact same as when I arrived. I was a loyal customer there for 8 years but I’m NEVER EVER going there again. I would give them 0 stars if I could because of what they did to me

Absolutely a must visit if you are an Aveda fan and ammonia-free product consumer, and, obviously are looking for a great hairdressing experience! Having Gigi for an early afternoon was awesome. She is highly professional and offers you a personalized treatment, which is amazing. Highly recommended. A top-notch customer service welcomes you with good vibes, which is a brand of the whole place. Booking is necessary.

Anthony is the best! Very professional anf extremely nice. He explains everything in detail before starting everything which I really appreciate! Would recommend.

The haircut seems always ok, but the admin is not great, booking confirmed previously went missing on the system, I got there on time and was told not booked. Then I was charged quite a bit more than just a simply blow-dry + cut, didn't realise until later on checked price list on their website, and I wasn't told of any extra charge for anything, given that I was offered 10% off when I made the booking. So the pricing is misleading. I only feel this place is dodgy and for the price I pay, I'm sure I could go anywhere else with a fair and pleasant treatment.

This was my first and last experience at Oscar Oscar. I was booked in for a blow dry and cut.

The hairdresser asked me how much I wanted cut off and I showed her. She told me that I should probably get a little more cut off as I do have some split ends. I told her I was aware of my split ends but I didn’t really want anything more than 10cm cut off. After a short minute of back and forth I gave in as she seemed pretty adamant.
After she brings out a hairbrush and I told her that my hair cannot be brushed when it’s dry and that I’ve never had my had my hair brushed when it’s dry. I was very confused… she continues to tell me it’s because my hair won’t fit in the basin which was strange for me because I’ve never had my hair brushed in the basin. It’s always in the styling chair after the wash. She responds “well there’s a first time for everything”. One last time I try to tell her my hair is very curly and that it’s not good to brush curly hair when it’s dry and that I’ve never brushed my hair dry. (Let alone had a professional hairdresser even try)
She responds “babes I have curly hair”. Do not call me “babes”. I am not your “babes”. After this comment I tell her I don’t think we are a good match and walked out.

IMO, being a customer for the past 15 years. Sadly, this business is not as good as it used to be.
Never had an issue with an appointment over 15 years, now I had issues with the last three in spite of doing them in advance. Maybe this is common in the business, but after 15 years with Prema without issues, this seems to me poor management and customer service seems even worse (It's so bad that makes write this review). The hairdressers are great though!

After they failed to duly communicate issues with the third appointment I can say bye bye Oscar Oscar.

Very Disappointed!
I did not have an appointment and really Appreciate then fitting me in.
But what I got was a ponytail and a very expensive one at that.
Had to take out and style myself.

My stylist called in sick but receptionist went over & above to squeeze me in. The stylist I had was Jade & the entire experience was amazing - head massage & amazing style cut & dry. Even though I’m from Perth, I’ll be coming back.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I have been seeing Bec for nearly 3 years for my hair and followed her to every salon she has worked at, usually for hair extensions and colour. Recently tried somewhere local and it was a disaster they had bleached my hair is it was so yellow and orange so I came back to see Bec and WOW she’s has done an excellent job, I feel like myself again! She’s also wonderful to speak with while getting your hair done we have the best chats! Highly recommend going to see her at Oscar Oscar especially if you’re a blonde!
