Prea James Bridal - Head Office

I absolutely loved my experience trying on wedding dresses for the first time at Prea James Bridal. I was so looked after and attended to by Maddie, Prea's niece. 90 minutes is the perfect amount of time to try on dresses and I never felt rushed because of that. Lots of other boutiques offer 45 minute or 1 hour appointments and I felt quite rushed at those, but never at Prea James Bridal! I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I liked and was even able to try on a few dresses for the second time. I have already booked in a second look at Prea James Bridal and cannot wait!

Absolutely stunning dresses! The whole process of buying my wedding dress from here was relaxing from start to finish. The girls in the store are lovely, very knowledgable and always keen to make sure everything is perfect. So glad I bought my dress from here!

I had the most relaxed experience for my first appointment with Kira and found my dress! I was very nervous going in but as soon as I walked in I felt at ease and supported the whole way through my appointment. Kira was so friendly, professional and beyond helpful. Nothing was too much and she had an eye for what works giving me plenty of options. I cannot wait to receive my dress and I would recommend Pre James to anyone getting married.

Really beautiful space - Maddie was knowledgeable and helpful, and so very patient with me while I tried on many different styles. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was just another customer at all. Exquisitely made gowns.

Great variety of styles to try on - something to suit every shape! There was no pressure to buy and it was a lovely experience.

I contacted the Prea James team when it became clear the dress I had originally ordered for my wedding wouldn't be here on time. When I asked what was possible within 2 months, the team were incredibly helpful. Kira got back to me straight away on a Saturday with a comprehensive list of sample options, and a commitment to find out what would be possible to make to order within my very tight timeframes. I was able to book an appointment for the Sunday afternoon (Sunday appointments, and 90 minute standard appointment times - so good!). As soon as I arrived, Maddie told me I was her last appointment for the day, and she would stay as long as I needed to find something. As soon as she could, Kira got back to me on the Tuesday to confirm production of my favourite dress from the (absolutely gorgeous) Riviera collection was possible.

I ended up going with a different dress that was closer to my original vision, but it was a tough choice. I'm truly so thankful to the Prea James team for their help, quick thinking and flexibility. I can't recommend enough to any new brides looking for a positive boutique experience.

I attended with my sister last weekend to her third bridal appointment to the Prea James Flagship store. We had not such great service elsewhere amongst other major bridal houses, so were so pleased when the stylist Gemma and the manager Kira were so accommodating. Gemma answered our millions of questions regarding the gowns (sorry!) and gave us insight into how great Prea is as a designer, and that all the gowns are made ethically and on site. My sister left feeling so beautiful and special. We were given refreshments and Gemma even took pictures of us as a group. Thankyou so much for taking such good care of us Gemma! And thankyou to Kira for answering so many of our questions too. You both truly are an asset to the store xxx

Had the most amazing experience at Prea James! Appointments are an hour and half so you don't feel rushed AT ALL. Kira is an absolute angel and was so so helpful during my appointment. There's a wide variety of styles and at an affordable price point. Highly recommend visiting!

Our experience at Prea James in Paddington was underwhelming at the very least.

We were assisted by Gemma who unfortunately seemed more interested in ending her work day than creating a positive environment and enabling our group to find the best dress option for the bride-to-be.
Rather than framing her disapproval of dresses/combination requests from both the bride and our party in a positive manner, she refused to allow us to try certain options by rudely shutting us down. She also failed to compliment our bride-to-be once, and her disinterest was very evident.

Our belief is that as a store person in a bridal shop not only are you there to make a sale, you are also a representative of the Prea James brand and tasked with ensuring potential customers have a positive in-store experience. In this instance, our perception of the brand has most definitely been damaged and we would not recommend this store to others based on our experience alone.

I couldn't rave about Prea James more! Such incredible service throughout the whole process, and the dresses are all amazing - you're really spoilt for choice. I had two appointments with Maddie, who was so delightful - super lovely and a very calm vibe:)
And I also had loads of helpful comms from Kira on where to go for alterations/shapewear, etc.

I had such a wonderful experience purchasing my gown at Prea James Bridal boutique. On my first visit, I was assisted by Maddie but for my following appointments, Kira looked after me:) The ladies were both so, so lovely and sweet - each taking their time to show me different options that were available, letting me try on different things (multiple times!) and also answering or responding to any queries promptly. Not only is the customer service amazing, but the gown in itself was the most beautiful thing i've ever worn. I had so many compliments and had aunties asking me whether Prea designed any clothes that weren't bridal for them to buy. I'm going to be recommending Prea's dresses to any of my friends who are getting married next:) xx Sonia

I could not be more grateful for Kira! She was so kind and helpful and really went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress. The best part about shopping here is that Prea James actually has a relationship with the stylists and is super open to helping customise your dress for you. On top of the incredible service, the store is just beautiful and is such a comfortable, beautiful space to enjoy the wedding dress shopping experience.

Amazing morning at Prea James!

I had my first Bridal Appointment at Prea James yesterday and I could not be more impressed with the service provided. My stylist was Maddie and as soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and special. She took a genuine interest in me, my style and wedding while also being professional. I never felt rushed and Maddie had lots of knowledge about the dresses and changes that could be made. She also made my guests feel included and relaxed to take pictures and videos for me.

The store also had beautiful, modern bridal shoes to try on with the dresses which really gave the full picture of what you might look like.

All the dresses I tried on felt so elegant and comfortable. I can tell they have been made with such thought, love and care.

Cannot recommend visiting Prea James enough to find your dream dress as you will feel amazing when you leave.:)

Every wedding dress appointment I’ve had I’ve felt very nervous for. Once I met Maddy from Prea James Bridal those nerves instantly left - Maddy was so down to earth and created a space that felt comfortable and encouraging. She had a great attention to detail and was very helpful.

I had a wonderful experience at Prea James. All the gowns I tried on were beautiful and Maddie was amazing answering all my questions and helping with advice. I can’t wait to wear the dress I picked!

By far the best experience I had in any bridal shop. I loved the advice from Kira on what style of dress to choose. Absolutely loved my Vera gown. It photographed so well and I felt so comfortable.

Prea is just something else! She is so sweet, bubbly and welcoming - she instantly puts you at ease and you know you can trust her wholeheartedly. Her service is second to none, as is her attention to detail. Thank you so much for creating my dream dress, I will forever be recommending you to other brides!

All I can say is Prea James bridal is the best. I had actually purchased another dress from somewhere else and was really unhappy with the service and the actual dress.
Prea to the rescue! They had a pop up store in Melbourne and it was meant to be. As soon as I tried on the Cara gown I knew it was the one.
Prea was so lovely & made the whole process seamless even though my wedding was only 6 weeks away.

I couldn't have been happier with my custom wedding gown! The quality of her dresses are incredible, her designs are effortless and Prea's lovely nature made this experience one I will never forget. I can't recommend her enough!
