I rang up to confirm they do bulk billing on XRays, as I am on jobseeker and was assured that was the case.
I turned up and was advised by reception that they do not bulk bill and a charge applies.
Needless to say, I will not be returning and do not recommend.
Not good enough.

Terrible service. I waited for ages on the phone. No one answers. Call back and wait more time. I had an urgent MRI last Tuesday. Report still not done 6 days later and I await results still in pain. Go elsewhere!

Port Macquarie IMed *never* answer their phones in a timely manner.
You're on hold for an interminable amount of time, with the recorded message repeating how 'convenient' the online booking system is.
Except it isn't working, hence the phone call
Plus, for the size of Port Macquarie it's completely unacceptable that they don't even provide standard tests, such as Mammograms

Horrible training, trained for 1 day on my first day and then thrown into reception for a full 4 week term to be told I’m not suitable for the position anymore due to me not meeting I-med standards.

Managing is not consistent and only seem to worry about themselves, when told a good receptionist takes 6-12 months and that mistakes are normal - to then being fired due to not meeting their probation requirements.

Overall, the technicians are awesome and great to get along with & assisted me more than my own manager & can handle being under the pump whereas managers seem to be overwhelmed and frustrated and make it known they’re frustrated. Very unprofessional

A lot of bad mouthing behind backs and overall a bad place to work.

I would think three times before applying to said position at said company if you don’t want to be looked down upon for making mistakes and trying to learn.

We just found out today we paid $650 for a scan for my husband.that would have been fully covered by Medicare just down the road.and know one mentioned this to us prior.very poor

My dad had an appointment and the text reminder was sent for a different time to the original booked. Tried to call to confirm and couldn’t get through.

When we came to the appointment the computer system had him booked for a different time again! So we got sent away.

Friendly, professional, knowledgable staff. Have had quite a few appointments and wait time is minimal, they run on schedule. The staff are happy to answer your questions, and do everything to make you as comfortable as they can at a time when you are most likely not feeling your best.

The staff at the center are so friendly & empathetic to one's needs from the front desk to the technicians, I had phobias and they were able to put me at ease while having a procedure - I could not recommend the center high enough!
