A refreshing and fun form of exercise. I've been going to classes here for almost 3years.
The owner, Angela, is very friendly and accomodating and the studio is conveniently located across from Canterbury station.
I really appreciate the fact that the classes are focused on skill and technique. I've built up so much strength from these classes alone, and toned down dramatically.
Pole fitness classes are one of my favourite ways to exercise while having fun. She also offers free trials for Canterbury residents!

Pole Fitness Studios is the best studio I have been to. With quality and professional teaching and a perfect location - next to the train station and convenient parking right outside. Angela is absolutely amazing! I have been training with her for 4 years and still look forward to every class! It’s a great challenge and a fun way to stay fit. I cannot see myself ever stop training at the studio! I would hugely recommend Pole Fitness Studios to anyone and you’ll be training with the loveliest bunch of people:)

I've been going to this pole studio since I was 12 and 3 years later I'm still loving it! Angela accommodates to everyone no matter your skill level. Ang continues to challenge you meaning you never stop improving and you never get bored. The studio has a lovely environment were everyone can have a go free of judgement while having a few laughs and giggles along the way. Pole fitness is a fabulous sport, different from anything else you can find. Not only does it improve your strength and control, it also looks very impressive! 100% would recommend

Pole Fitness Studios offers great all round fitness and pole technique training. Angela is an amazing instructor and makes training fun and rewarding. She caters to all ages, gender and skill set.
Highly recommend pole fitness to anyone that wants a challenge and some fun!

I found Ang's Pole Fitness Studio by doing a Google search as I'd always wanted to try it but was really nervous and definitely didn't want to learn a routine/dance. Ang is a fantastic, bubbly and welcoming instructor, she makes everyone feel at ease but pushes you that extra bit when she knows you can do a skill you don't think you can. I look forward to every class and wish I could go more often. The other clients are as lovely as Ang, it's such a relaxed and safe environment. Love the soft mats for those moments where things don't quite go to plan. I am the fittest and strongest I've ever been, and that's totally due to Ang and pole fit. If you've ever wanted to give it a go, definitely check this place out, you won't regret it!

I tried Pole Fitness Studios based on a recommendation from a friend about 10 months ago and am so glad I did. After trying many other forms of exercise, Angela's pole fitness classes are the only form of exercise that had me looking forward to working out regularly. As a result, my overall fitness, strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination have improved immensely.
Angela is an amazing teacher. Her classes are fun, exciting, and challenging. She also has excellent attention to correct technique and form, which is great not only in helping her students achieve different moves, but in keeping us safe from injury.
I highly recommend this studio!

The best pole fitness - amazing teacher, great vibe, safe environment.

I've known the owner Angela for 18 years (scary but true!) but as a man it's not common to go to a pole class, so for years I didn't do so. I also have a badly injured left arm from childhood so didn't think that I could do pole.

I finally went to Angela's classes in 2012 and it was awesome. She is an engaging, energetic, communicative, but also careful teacher. She is bubble and lively, but also keeps a mother-hen lookout for everyone on the poles to make sure we don't do anything insecure (which means making sure you have good grips and locks so you don't fall down and injure yourself). I tried my best with hindsight to be daredevil and injure myself, but thanks to her I was fine.

I love pole now and that's thanks to Angela. I travelled through the US, UK, Spain, and Argentina finding pole classes wherever I went, and thanks to Angela's teaching I was always able to participate. Pole creates a wonderful community, and Pole Fitness Studios is the best little community. If you're a woman, just go there! And if you're a guy and feeling a little intimidated, just give her a call and she'll say how best to get integrated into this mostly female world. Which classes would feel most comfortable with you, and you with them.

I first started pole fitness with Angela in January 2018. Her training program is incredible. I’ve never identified as any kind of fit or sporty but with Ang (who owns and runs the studio!) I found myself soon building the strength to do things I’ve never even dreamed of like flipping and flying. After 9 months of training pole fitness with Ang, I took my experience to a pole dance studio nearer to me and I found that her training and the skills and the strength I built under her regime meant that pole tricks were easy! I’ve had many instructors since Ang (including some overseas) but this month I found myself coming back to her and braving a half hour commute each way because nobody does technique as well as she does. The soft mats are the perfect opportunity to learn to be fearless and to fly. Her training program builds muscles and strength. The environment is so welcoming and her class sizes are small enough so that you can receive individual attention. I know I wouldn’t have progressed so much and so quickly at my other studio without Ang’s foundation and I’m super excited to be back at the place that started it all you’re the best, Ang! If you’re thinking you want to get fit, you want to increase flexibility, you want to feel better about your body and start judging your body not merely by what it looks like but what you can do AND you’d like to learn some new skills (that are transferable if you want to try other circus arts such as aerial or lyra like I’ve tried) then honestly, call Ang up and sign up for your first pole fitness class today. She’s super friendly and cool - you won’t regret it!

Great place for getting in shape and learning new pole fitness techniques. Angela is a great teacher that provides positive energy towards everyone. Classes are great for getting fit and improving on flexibility. Angela provides support and encouragement which there is always a positive vibe in the room.
