Amazing medical center, Doctors are amazing staff appsolutly wonderful caring and professionalism, always with a smile on the face.

Hi I'm a relatively new patient and Dr Susana Tjandra and her receptionists are very knowledgeable friendly and understanding thanks so much I look forward to seeing you again.

Reception is so friendly and Dr. S Kumar is very easy to talk to and helps you understand everything.

I've never really had a regular doctor nor location before, but I'm definitely happy with with here!

They bulk bill during the week, which is excellent too. Lovely people and lovely place.

Good little practice, Dr Pankar is extremely knowledgeable, super respectful and helpful and caring and very patient with a good way of explaining things sometimes even with some humour, which makes seeing him super comfortable, regular doctor for my partner and myself, reception are very helpful with reminders, and very warm and welcoming as you walk in. They are very dedicated to helping us get the right booking times and explaining things

Both Dr S Kumar and the lovely ladies at reception are fantastic, and really went above and beyond to help me. Very impressed with their service and would definitely recommend. When I had to go to St Vincents for something, the hospital doctors also commented on how especially helpful Dr S Kumar and the reception team were in their liaisons. It’s such a small and overlooked practice, but they work very hard and really look after you.

Feeling chronically unwell is stressful and exhausting enough. But seeing a Dr with who lacks compassion and is shaming and patronising adds to the problem. And my recent session with Dr. Anthony Tsamoglou was one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had with a GP.

Without knowing my history, or exactly what might be causing so much inflammation in my body, he was certain that it was stress related and insisted I stop stressing about my condition and life in general. He had not had any results to go by to make such an assumption and it felt like I was to blame for my condition. Just WOW! When my session was over, I certainly felt more stressed and frozen from the sheer shock of his demeaner and was almost unable to speak to the reception staff to tell them never to book me in with him again. He certainly needs a lesson on how to speak to his patients in a way that is compassionate, respectful and so they feel heard whilst delivering a way forward in their healing.

Area outside is pretty dodgy, and the receptionists weren't exactly joyful in my experience, but the doctor was very kind, professional, and helpful. Overall was still worth going to.

Good people who care about health and their patients. They're the sort of doctors that I want to be like.

Thorough medical care is the tenet of this busy practice. I feel confident attending Poet's Corner Medical Centre. For example, Dr Susana Tjandra is proactive in ordering all the tests and referrals I require, often before I even realize that I need them. In recent years (I'm 63) my medical needs have increased. The staff are always friendly and optimistic in their delivery of first class care.

An outstanding Medical Practice, all the staff are very helpful and professional. Dr Paul Ameisen is an excellent doctor who has helped my mum and me and we highly recommend him.

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish.services that I receive from Peter is excellent. Dr. Paul J AMEISEN and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I never feel rushed, and he always asks if I have any other questions. He’s awesome. It took me a while to find a doctor that made me feel comfortable and welcome. I have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

Did a hotdoc booking in the early morning for a same day appt. Very nice front desk staff, gave me a free face mask when I'd forgotten to bring my own. There was a wait of about half an hour. Dr Ameisen was very professional and quickly prescribed me, with compassion but also rigour. 10/10 would go again.

Really good medical centre. Dr. Susana is a caring doctor. The staff at the Medical Centre have also been friendly and courteous to me (for example, Luisa.) A number of languages spoken as well (Dr. Susana - Indonesian) and Luisa (Tagalog).

This medical centre is excellent, all staffs and their manager are friendly attentive and polite. Doctors are all good and caring especially Dr. SusanaTjandra. The pathologist, Podiatrist, and the Psychologist are all excellent. Highly recommend

Dr Paul Ameisen is very knowledgeable doctor with 42 years experience.
He treated my parents for many years which enabled them to live a healthy life. I am seeing him now and his advice and caring nature is second to none.
Dr Paul Ameisen is clear in his explanation and always gives the patient hope even if it is cancer. Where there is a will there is hope and Dr Paul experience is profound knowledge in many ailments.

They are awesome very diligent great customer. Service very very kind very understanding I had unique requirements that I needed they helped with them great doctors. I highly recomend.

Negative experience.
I had to do a dental surgery and before it I had to do an allergy test only because back in Ukraine I was confirmed positive to have allergy reaction to some of dental anaesthetics.

First, the doctor Anthony Tsamaglou was quite rude which was OK but uncommon in Australia. When I insisted that I might have an allergy because of my previous test, the doctor was like "Why? ", "Who told you that", "I don't know what to do with you", "Why you did not ask what anaesthetics a doctor gave you last time".
Comparing to other GPs in Australia, it was rude and I felt like I am guilt in coming to the GP.

As a result he gave me a reference to do a blood test in a pathology clinic, which I did and the result I got is "the blood test you required does not exist".
So the doctor did not give me a correct reference, he did not know that a blood test for such medication does not exist and the only test they do in Australia for the medication is a skin allergy test.
I have wasted 2 weeks with major toothache to visit the GP, take the blood test and then realise that the test does not exist.

My dentist refused to do a surgery for me because of test absence.
I had to go to another GP who literally told me to do a skin test and that a blood test won't be a case for me.
I also visited one more GP to confirm who also told me that blood test for a special medicine is usually unreliable and only a skin test can help me.

I do not recommend this doctor at all.
Starting from his attitude and finishing with his lack of knowledge.

I've been coming to Poet's Cnr Medical Centre over 10 years. I won't go anywhere else. Dr Susana Tjandra is excellent and very thorough. Ruby the Podiatrist is fantastic
too! Also the Reception staff are very friendly, efficient, attentive and helpful in everyway. If you want quality care, come here, you won't be disappointed. Hey they bulk bill too. Thank you Poet's Cnr Medical Centre!

Strict Covid procedures now. Wait outside press door bell. I showed my Negative Swab test and they let me in. Friendly staff. Dr Bains is always thorough and listens well. Dr Susana is OK she changed my dressing today.
