The staff at Arndell Park are so lovely and accommodating, they’re willingness to offering support and guidance definitely goes a long way. The team are great to chat too and are very friendly and welcoming.

Great Gym! I have been going to this gym for over 10 years, I have always felt welcomed by John and the team. I enjoy being able to go before work early hours and have always felt safe. The gym is always tidy and clean, I appreciate the strict rules to clean up after yourself (no brainer). It has a variety of great equipment that are all well maintained. Great Gym, Great Vibe, Great Team.

Started doing RyeFit lessons there with John and it’s been awesome! The gym is great to use on its own as well. Lots of things to use and do.

I have been a member of this gym for 1.5 years now, and I can honestly say it has been more than just a gym. There is such a great group of people that come here with a 0 judgement atmosphere, not to mention the help and support of the staff members they are always willing to help above an beyond to focus on you completing and reaching your goals.

The gym is a very welcoming and friendly space. It is clean and well equiped with machines and free weights. You are supported by knowledgeable staff and also fellow members who are friendly and welcoming. Good music playing. It is clean too. Highly recommend.

Only -1 jst coz they sent reminder for not using towel underneath the machines or bench, even after i done with any machine or bench i use to wipe it with the wet alcohol wipes. We cannot use towel every time on machines or bench because towel may slip and we cannot keep our balance or may cause injury, towel is not use to put on the bench or machines, it is used to wipe the sweat off your body!
I know its very important to keep gym hygiene and clean but the thing is if i am not cleaning the seat or equipment after use then you may send me the reminder of that things, there is no point to always use the towel underneath the machines or bench. Secondly NO DECLINE BENCH. At last, This gym is amazing. Good facility, top equipments, great environment and spacious.

Only issues are

(I) accessing the gym during peak hour traffic is a nightmare.its situated in an industrial park area and during peak hour traffic is chaotic. Parking can be difficult as there aren't many spots and one has to park at Aldi which involves navigating a shopping centre car park

(ii) they've started to issue customers reminders via SMS when they leave weights unracked.

This is fair but somewhat inconsistent. No one gets reminders for not wiping down equipment or not having a towel. Rules can't be applied when convenient for one party and not for the other.

Time and time again you see customers with no towel or not wiping down equipment.will management be brave enough to send them sms reminders after training?

​I had the worst experience with these guys recently. I came to the gym with my Physio (also a member of the gym and has full access and authorised person). Gym claimed that I brought an unauthorized person and charged a fine of $250. Later they sent CCTV footage where I opened the door and entered and the physio followed me without presenting his access card. Gym claimed this was my mistake and I let an unauthorized person come. First I'm not the security guard there to close the door and hold it until another person presents his access pass and enters. ​Second, if he entered without using his access pass he should be fined, not me. When I called them to ask why they fined me and told this is not my fault they spoke very loudly and tried to put the blame on me. I'm coming out from a major surgery and getting physio to rehab. The last thing I don't want at the gym is making my life and rehab program difficult. This is both mentally and physically hurting and impacting my recovery and totally frustrating.

Claim that they have “no lock in contracts” but refuse to cancel unless you meet certain terms. Sounds like a contract. Also John is a tightwad who will prefer to chase me for money even though I did not attend his gym.

Staff are very nice and keen to help people train. Good environment to work in because people don't bother you unless U don't bother them.

No good because the people there are not trained properly to do the right thing. If they can improve on their service that would be better and not tell me that their equipment not working when it is working. Good On ya.

Staff is veryrude. Especially manager John.
John is runnig the show who doesn't have ability to resolve the issues.
Owner would not like to talk to his customers.

Have issues resolving the membership cancellation.
They talk you into put a hold on membership & out of blue starts charging your credit card. Beware of these guys. Never came across rude staff.

Been a member here since 2014 couldn't speak more highly about the club always very friendly and helpful. Since then I have signed up my 2 brothers and my wife. John the manager has always looked after us! Highly recommend this club.

I recently signed up at this gym and let me say, the customer service was excellent! Answered all my weird questions haha. I visited a few gyms in the area and they were quite blunt and rude, especially when I questioned their rules around the current covid "situation".
After speaking with the manager John and the young lady in the office (I did not get her name lol) I was instantly put at ease with everything they have in place. I came in for my first workout (man it was tough!) and I noted how often these two were cleaning and individually making sure each person was using a towel. Fantastic, keep it up!

The staff are rude and unprofessional especially the manager John.

Suggest the manager John receives a management course on how to speak politely also ask questions on why something has happened not bark orders and belittle people trying to be a hero front of a gym full of people.

Ive been a member for 4+ years and what a great gym! A huge range of equipment, very clean and really helpful staff! The manager John is particularly friendly and helpful.

Great gym even better now with all the renovations, great space, awesome staff, Over the few years of being part of this gym (had to stop cause got bubba on the way) it was always an awesome pt session with John he will motivate you and push you harder through each session. He has worked hard and has been benefited by becoming the manager, you couldn’t ask for a better manager whom is highly recommended as a pt trainer and remains professional throughout he’s job. My hubby loves the pt sessions with John he benefits from them and hopes to start them up again in the new year.

The classes that are offered are great for a variety of different training styles and they are overseen by professionals who know their stuff. The facilities have only gotten since the renovation, always look forward to going to Plus Fitness at Arndell Park
