Pleasant Way River Lodge

I appreciate this place for what it is. They know what their market is and they do it well. I also love the convenience of the cafe on site for breakfast. I stay here when I come to town for kids sports and it’s perfect.

They're doing construction on the bridge next to the park, bit dusty; not the best time to visit.

Overall a good value for money motel. Clean, tidy and well presented. Staff were great. Everything lived up to expectations.

My only negative feedback would be that the room had no table so sitting down for a meal for difficult.

A bit hard to negotiate finding with road works and road closures out front. Had to book a time to use the pool due to covid rule, and one family using at a time, was too late when we worked this out. Shower was hot then cold. Beds were comfortable thou.

Highly recommended!
Except U need to prepare not enough hot water if U bath too late.
Other then that it is a cheap but quality lounge to stop over!
They also provide Netflix to watch too!

What a great stay. Comfortable, clean, great bathroom and shower, room fit our family of 5 well. The cafe on premises was amazing! We’d stay here again.

What an awesome little place we stayed for two nights and had the most wonderful experience.
The staff are amazing, the heated pool is great and the tin shed cafe is very popular and great.

2am and there’s a decent group of guests singing at the top of their lungs in the common area. No answer on the emergency phone line. And their cloud of ciggie smoke wafting into our room tops off the experience. Surely I’m not the only person awake and desperate for them to go away.

Best kept secret in nowra? Cafe is a bomb. Owners are super cool and friendly. Would give 6 stars if I could

I was woken up by screaming kids and adults at 6: 30 am. I soon found out that underneath my room the motel was running swimming lessons. The primary function of a motel is to allow for sleep, this absurd situation prevents you from doing so. You had one job…Unacceptable.

The room was very nice and curated.
I went there with my family and we felt at home. Really recommended.

Pleasant reception person; room spotlessly clean; knives, forks plates and a microwave and SINK (great addition) ; good bed and the best surprise of all - a Cafe! Reasonably priced too.

Fantastic, very clean, very friendly staff, super fast internet, great pool, secure premises, great location and great value for money. Also awesome coffee and the little cafe food was indeed delicious! When I asked if a late check out was possible? It was no problem at all. A wonderful motel we stayed there 2 nights very clean. Staff very friendly meals were great. I would recommend this motel.

I left my watch behind and getting it back was a bit harder than it should have been.

Other than that very pleasant stay.

Loved the cafe and bicycle art work. Great to see lots of plants, perhaps they should plant even more.

Nice walking track next to the river.

Good accommodation for the the price.
Onsite tin shed cafe open early to grab a coffee and a bite to eat before heading off to work.
After hours check in kiosk is a good idea and easy to use.
Bed reasonably comfy and good shower as well.
In room tv a decent size but analog so digital channels not available, could be updated.
Good Wi-Fi with fast download for movies and doing online work related bookwork.
Microwave and fridge in room with cutlery and plates etc. No toaster.

I stayed at this motel for 3 weeks and have nothing but good things to say about the place and staff. The owner in particular is a really good guy who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy. Every time he saw me he'd stop and have a chat. Mark is a very hands on type and a tireless worker. The rooms are very spacious.comfortable and very clean. There's a cafe on site that has great coffee and delicious food. I 100% recommend this motel if you're looking for a great experience. Mark also has another business called Tea journey's that supplies customers with great tea blends and tea related products that I also 100% recommend.

Stayed here prevusly paid 115 for the night never had to pay more then i show up for my reservation and told i have to pay an extra 150 like if i had been told i had to pay that much extra i wouldnt have booked as why should I have to pay more then i have had to previously.
Poor attitude

Lovely clean place. Rooms were spacious enough. Staff were pleasant. Restaurant was always busy.very popular with outsiders. We enjoyed our stay there.

Comfortable, clean with some special extra outdoor areas to relax and enjoy the morning coffee.
