Bad lipping issues and extended project time.

I paid Platinum Tiling above market rates for a subpar job. I was guaranteed quality workmanship for the additional costs, but still ended up disappointed.

My completed job is uneven with poor lipping (an issue I specifically raised with the tiler before the job began). The project time was quoted for 4 days, but was delayed by 1 day and ended up taking 7 days total. As a full time worker who needs to take days off to meet contractors, this is highly inconvenient. The grouting is uneven at many points of the floor, and is visible in the light, because the tile is semi gloss while the grouting is matte.

2 stars goes to the customer service and to the process of planning the layout, but this does not negate the fact that the end result was poor. I paid over $10k in materials and labour, and I am unhappy with the result. I would recommend any other tiler at this price point. This is NOT a premium service.
