Plants Plus Cumberland Forest reviews
40Love this nursery - the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, there is plenty of stock and lots of variety from tube stock to small trees. They specialize in natives, which I love, but there are plenty of exotics too. Also a greenhouse for ferns etc. Ample parking. Great setting in the Cumberland state forest.
No replacement policy.
We have bought hundreds of dollars of plants from here.
We brought one plant back that we had put in a pot, and watered, but it died after about a month as it had dried out. We had put stones in the bottom of the pot- they told us people stopped doing this years ago- it was wrong as it had drained through too quickly, but unlike other plant centres, there was no offer of replacement, despite being a member for years.
Visited for the first time today - what a bit of a hidden gem! The staff were extremely helpful and knowledge and there was a great selection at very reasonable prices. I'll definitely be returning to get some more plants in the future!
This nursery never disappoints, great range of almost everything you need for gardening. You could spend a days outing here as theres lots to look at in beautiful surroundings.
Very helpful staff, and good quality plants that stay alive after you get them home and plant them.
Huge range of plants, right in the middle of the forest. There are different sections for everything from pot plants and grasses to big trees. Because you can also buy plots and other garden ornaments and everything you can think of to work your garden. They have a reasonable amount of tools although not as much as you would find from Bunnings.
The staff are very helpful and can tell you how to best prepare your soil and how to feed your plants to make them grow.
Consistently great service from staff and wonderful selection of plants and excellent prices. Delightful selections especially succulents. Staff went out of their way to help. If you want plants and information, and don't want to be ripped off, make the trip to Plants Plus.
Plenty of variety with natives and non-native plants. Not much shade so bring a hat. There is a filtered water bubbler outside the cafe. Decent pricing. Plenty of parking even if busy as they open up an overflow car park.
Nice place, small but with an excellent variety of plants. In the middle of the Cumberland forest so also a good opportunity for a walk.
Great range of plants. There’s a cafe next door and some great little bush walks. Great way to spend half a day for those into gardening and nature
Amazing service and super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They gave us great advise on hedging and other plants and flowers. I definitely highly recommend this place over other nurseries.
Great nursery with very helpful and experienced staff. Plants are healthy and thrive in the garden.
Extensive variety of healthy, well presented, native plants. Great supportive product range such as pest control, fertilisers, pots, mulch and more. We purchased sugar cane mulch, Banksia and Bottlebrush plus native plant mix for the soil, all at VERY competitive prices. Owners Adam and Andrew are well studied and knowledgeable in horticulture and can give valuable advice. It's worth a whole day trip there because there is an adjacent cafe, huge surrounding forest, bush walks, toilets and picnic areas. We thought this place was very good value! An oasis in the hills district.
A great nursery in a forest haven. A great variety of plants from annuals to natives. Small to advanced. Plenty of parking.
I rang them up the day before to see if they can be helpful with my questions. The advise was so compelling I had to make the 1 hour drive effort to visit. Helpful staff, give them your plant criteria and they will go out of their way to give u suggestions. Located in the Cumberland state forest, such a lovely drive to get there. Would recommend them, such a large selection and reasonable prices.
Great range of plants and garden accessories. Many Australian natives. Friendly and very helpful staff on hand. In the middle of Cumberland forest so you can have a wander through the bush as well.
I was unsure about a couple of plants I needed to use in particular areas and Andrew came up with great suggestions for plants that were attractive and easy to maintain. Their customer service was exceptional and far better than any other nurseries I'd spoken. I would highly recommend these guys for quality plants and awesome customer service.
Have used this nursery many times and the service and selection of plants is very good. However beware of their sales. At today's 25% off sale the prices of two items we bought a week ago were the same or slightly more.
Today I had excellent service from Tania, who helped me select some wonderful plants, advised me with expert horticultural advice and then helped me to my car with all the goodies. Wonderful afternoon, the plants good quality here and I've never experienced any 'duds'. On a good day this nursery can be busy. Hot tip there is extra parking now at the back of the nursery just follow the signs.
Best place for a decent selection of natives and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Decent coffee next door too.
