Pivotal Business Systems Newcastle reviews
7They service a wide area around Newcastle. They are a bit aggressive but OK with service.
I have utilised Pivotal Business Systems at Newcastle for our copier requirements in Australia, Canada and USA for the past 5 years and cannot speak more highly of the professional service we receive from the team at Pivotal.
The company I work for use Pivotal. Every time I speak to any IT representative they are straight out rude. Not just unfriendly, but rude. They are blunt and ALWAYS make you feel as though you are inconveniencing them. They also speak to you as though you are stupid, yet they use IT jargon that is specific to their industry. Service has been particularly bad over the last 18 months. And don’t even get me started on their ‘after hours’ service that goes straight to message bank…
Their sales department are continually harassing us every month trying to sell us their services. We have told them multiple times to stop calling us, and that we do not need or want any of their services.
I've now instructed my staff to just hang up on anyone calling from Pivotal Business Systems.
Hi, we have used Pivotal at my place of work for the last 12 months. I have always found the team from the owner down very approachable, knowledgeable, caring and willing to find a solution to any issue I give them. I can highly recommend Pivotal to anyone seeking a technology based business systems for office management.
I get unsolicited calls frequently from companies wanting to sell me print or managed IT solutions. In this case I had a voice message from a Charles just saying "Charles from Pivotal. Call me. " - I found that curt and rude. The trouble with first impressions is you only get to make one.
I phoned the landline number Charles had called from. It didn't go to reception, or even to a phone in Charles' name. It went to some other lady's personal voicemail. That's not a good reflection on Pivotal's configuration.
I called Charles. He didn't remember if I was in IT or Finance despite having just called me, and he wasn't entirely clear on where the contact who gave him my name used to work. It is pretty clear Charles just has a sheet of possible leads and doesn't do his research before firing off his curt one-liner phone messages.
Anyhow, Charles said maybe they could service our business. Looking at the web site I see Pivotal doesn't have a national reach so I declined. Of course, the first impressions were pretty poor to begin with.
I would recommend Pivotal think about how it presents itself in terms of callback numbers, voicemail messages, getting details correct about who it is speaking with, and so on.
I am sure many (small) companies may enjoy Pivotal's services, but they need some reflection and work if they want to play in a bigger space.
