Very easy to follow and understand, I am glad I took the time to do the course, would highly recommend! I now know exactly where I’m headed and what I need to do to make it better!

I recently engaged with this Pivot with high hopes of receiving personalised advice to improve my financial situation. However, my experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing and far from what was promised.

Upon paying a substantial fee of $190 for personalised advice, I was promised to gain valuable insights tailored to my needs. Instead, what I received was a generic sales pitch that provided me with no tangible value whatsoever. The session seemed to be focused solely on upselling their packages and pricing structures, without addressing my specific concerns or providing any substantial guidance.

During the call, the sales guy who was suppose to be a financial advisor struggled to answer even the most basic questions I had. Moreover, there was no demonstration of their platforms or services, leaving me in the dark about what I could potentially benefit from. Instead of instilling confidence in their offerings, the call left me feeling skeptical and uncertain about the level of service I would receive.

To make matters worse, after expressing my dissatisfaction via email, I received no response from the sales representative. This lack of acknowledgment further underscores the disregard for customer concerns and the focus on making quick sales rather than building lasting client relationships.

In summary, my interaction with this Pivot was marked by empty promises, a lack of personalised advice, and a failure to address my specific needs. I am deeply disappointed by the experience and would caution others against investing their time and money with this company.

I hope that sharing my experience will encourage improvements in their approach and ensure that future clients receive the quality and value they deserve.

Sincerely,
Barakat

I have never liked dealing with money. The wealth of contradictory advice available from experts and acquaintances meant any attempt at self-education would end with inaction and a sense of frustration at being financially OK but without enough knowledge or confidence to take things to the next level.
We found everyone we dealt with at Pivot to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable, the strategy they've put in place for us provides a clear path forward and, most importantly for us, the ability to now adapt and make confident financial decisions for ourselves.
One thing I feel could improve is to spend more time familiarising clients with the Pivot app. Beyond asking us to download it and start inputting some details there was no real emphasis put on any of the other features available, and "having a play around" is probably not going to be enough for everyone to find this a useful tool. I'm sure that had we requested some time set aside to go over it in more detail this would have happened, but with a number of other things on our to-do list at this point in the process it certainly didn't seem like a priority.
Overall this has been a positive and valuable experience and the ongoing advice and information is level-headed and straightforward with so much hysteria and gloom out in the media.

Ben and Pivot Wealth have been delivering live workshops to our audience for the last six years. Our audience is generally younger people that are seeking to strengthen their financial literacy. Over this time period Ben and the Pivot team have delivered over 50 events to 1,500+ to our audience and we've had consistent positive feedback. The approach and content from these sessions has been highly engaging and we’d strongly recommend the Pivot team for any organisation looking to improve the financial wellbeing of their people.

Working with Sal and Daniel at Pivot has been a game changer, and I thoroughly recommend them to everyone looking to get clarity and goals in place for their personal finances.

Ben Nash is a great operator. I would have no hesitation recommending Pivot's services to prospective clients.

In the interests of fairness - maybe this service works well for people who are just starting out on their investment journey and who do not have any real experience in the space. Certainly the reviews that I see indicate this might be the case.

I also really like the concept and found Ben very engaging, which is why I signed up.

However, my own personal experience with Pivot Wealth was extremely disappointing. I would consider myself somewhat experienced (have been investing for a while, had money and savings under control) and wanted to take my financial journey to the next level.

I found the information to be pretty generic and didn't really seem to take account of my own personal circumstances or situation. For example I spent a huge amount of time setting up a new banking structure, which is very much a "Pivot Cut & Paste" way of banking, which I have spent as much time undoing because I hated it and it gave me far less control of my money.

In fact the whole onboarding process I found very arduous. Information was split over multiple systems, with a huge long list of to-do items, most of which didn't sit with me so it was never very clear what my next action was.

They changed super funds from one low fee provider (I had already done this) to another, No way of ever knowing if this was worthwhile or not, was a lot of paperwork for a pretty ordinary product that wasn't recommended based on any of my needs - just the generic one I think Pivot use.

I was setup on "my prosperity" which nobody actually explained to me the purpose of what it was supposed to do. When I finally did this it just turns out it just duplicated everything I already did. And didn't seem to be necessary as nobody from Pivot ever checked it (I only finally set it up a month or so before I exited).

Even the "bespoke" strategy document was a largely re-hashing of information I already knew and because it was so long and with so many disclaimers all over it finding the actually useful information in it was a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. Less is genuinely more most of the time - just give the headline information and put the rest in an Appendix if you have to!

So, if you are a novice or really unsure this might be for you (that said, I got most of my info online for free and I don't feel this added much to it - but I do think this is where the value could be). If you know a bit already I really can't say this service is going to help you and in all honesty I would have been better off just sticking the (not inconsiderable) $$$$ I spent here into one of the ETFs I already owned (and was subsequently recommended by Pivot).

As someone who has spent years trying to find ways to get the most out of my employee share scheme, it was nice to know that I have done all the research I needed to do, to LEGALLY get the maximum benefit. Although it didn’t offer much for myself as I knew most of what he went through, I’ll definitely be tuning in to more seminars, and I’ll highly recommend to all my friends interested in maximising there financial performance to give it a listen too. Cheers Ben

This review is for the $90 45-minute Breakthrough Session 1 on 1 with Ben Nash.

This was presented as having personalised outcomes such as clarity on 3 things to get ahead with money, a list of roadblocks I need to overcome for financial success, a customised resource pack and Q&A.

Unfortunately, this session didn’t deliver.

I was asked to complete a form covering my current financial position, my goals and my progress to date. I spent well over an hour reflecting on this and putting together the required information a few days ahead of time so Ben would have time to read and consider his advice. I had correspondence with him ahead of the session expressing my enthusiasm.

I did have high hopes as I enjoyed Ben’s free webinars on General Assembly. Pivot had booked a lot of these sessions with Ben and I have the impression that he didn’t make time to read the information I provided ahead of the meeting.

I was asked to spend the first 15 minutes summarising what I wrote in the form and the remaining half hour was Ben whiteboarding a diagram with vague allusions to the financial goals I had specified. It didn’t relate to my specific financial objectives and didn’t deliver on the promises made.

I expected the customised resource pack would be customised to my situation - it wasn’t. It reads like a collection of sales brochures and videos on how Pivot works - most of which is freely available on their website.

At the time, Ben offered to discuss any questions I have further over email and to set up an additional 15 minute phone call. I’ve reached out to Ben twice to discuss further. I was honest, yet polite and fair, with my feedback. It’s been 3 weeks with no response.

I’ve written to Ben to request a refund on the session.

Ben gives amazing personal finance podcast and workshops. His recommendations are up to date, relevant and genuine. Especially for my age group. His podcast were one of the best money podcasts I've listened to for a long time. Thanks Ben.
