Pivot Studio

After going to one class I really liked it so I bought a 5 class pass. I then hurt my ankle in basketball and was unable to do any sport for a month. I know I should have said to the studio earlier that I was injured but it wasn't the first thing on my mind. When I finally remembered because of the email reminder about my membership running out (I think it was about 4 days notice for 5 days of classes) I had no chance about getting to them, especially with my ankle. I understand the policies of businesses, but what I was upset about was that I messaged and explained my injury and just asked for an extension for the classes I had already paid for and then I was told that because I was out of the expiry date period they could do nothing for me and my 5 class pass was void. I just thought they may have been more understanding and empathetic.

Love Pivot Studio! The vibe in this place is amazing – it’s so inclusive and the teachers and other dancers absolutely LIFT YOU UP. My fave classes are Commercial Burlesque and Twerk – they’re the perfect balance of technique, self-expression and fun.

GREAT Dance studio! Under the guidance of Lija there are some fantastic teachers in all types of dance! The best part is the community side to the studio - you come to dance and walk away with new friends! Would highly recommend this dance studio to all!:)

I began coming to classes at Pivot a couple of months ago and have always found the teachers and students incredibly welcoming. The classes are always fun and there’s a great range styles too!
