Pirrama Park Playground reviews
18 A gem of a playground Sand pit, climbing structure, water feature (in summer) and variety of equipment keep kids of all ages entertained.
Water views, cafe and nearby walking trails make this a great little excursion and fun for adults, too.
Kiosk cafe right next door.
Yup, just nearby, behind the kiosk.
Water sport enthusiast? This is one of the few spots that you can paddle to and reliably dock.
Street parking and parking meter parking. Gets busy, avoid if possible.
Just down the street from the John Street Square light rail stop.
A lovely spot to sit and relax, with interesting activities for the kids and a cafe nearby. Parking can be a bit hard, so is more suited to locals. Toilet facilities could have been cleaner.
Great playground. Kids love the water play and they insisted it got a 5 out of 5. Easy to park, little cafe nearby and beautiful view. So much fun!
Beautiful bay view, interesting playground for the kids. Parking rate is reasonable at $3.6 - $4 per hour.
I go here for the view and the facilities. Also great parking BBQ areas and lots of children’s playground areas. I also like the cafes great for all the family!
Swings, slide and water area for the little ones, and great view for the parents.could not ask for more
Awesome fun park with water features and a big sandbox.it has a climbing tower and swings.toilets and cafe next to the playground.great views and a peaceful green lawn nearby.easy parking but you must pay.
Lots of fun
Needs one shade though.
Great park for kids with water fountains for splashing. Beautiful surrounds and spectacular views.
And a licensed cafe nearby. Very important.
Top playground with cover and heaps of play options for the kids.
Water play was down which wasn't good.
Such a great play area for kids. Water fountains to play in, lots to climb on and little paths for scooters and anything else with little wheels. Cafe there also with campos coffee.
The old police water site. PPP has now been here for ten years. The park is excellent & has it all. Some swings, water play, sand pit, climbing thingy, bbq, trees, toilets which are clean! PPK cafe, parking, tram stop up the road. We’ve been here so many times. Love it
I visited with a young family. We had so much fun! The kids could not get enough and mum was happy they not only had fun but got to try new adventures such as climbing the cargo rope dome. There's water play for those hot days as well as an array of items to join other children in play. Toilets are close and there's a green space for sitting and enjoying the views and having a picnic. Parking is also plentiful.
Awesome place to spend a day out and have a picnic with your family. Kids will love it. Lots of sun and open place for people to soak the Sunlight.
Great place for the kids to play in the park or on the playground equipment and cool down in the water sprinklers. Just wish that there was more shade cover.
Great spot for families with young kids with the water spouts.a small cafe, toilets and great views.parking is supplied but easily snatched up quickly, 2 and 3P, ample time for a picnic.
Excellent coffee.
Great cafe next to the playground, good toilet facility that you can wheel a pram into and plenty of shaded seating.
One of my favourite parks in the area, used to go there all the time, there few couple of nice cafes there and number of restaurants and cafes nearby.
Great place for families with pets to go to as well as great spot for NYE Fireworks.
There is are tram station near by, great walking tracks and bike tracks. Amazing views of the harbour bridge and ANZAC bridge, across the water is the international terminal.
Pirrama Park Is amongst some of the most beautiful modern conversion of docks. Half of today's park used to be a quarry from which some of the finest yellow stones used in early building in Sydney had been carved from. Once a rotten housing commission slum is now hosting some of the finest apartment in johnstons Bay.
The area is quite sizeable and it extend to Jones Bay looking over White bay. You can still spot the old rd going across the water before Anzac Bridge was built. The Bridge Keepers House stand there as a remembrance and so is the swivel bridge.
You need to put on your hat as an explorer, there are so many hidden gems in amongst the high rise buildings. I leave it to you to find where the pictures had been taken.
