Pinocchios Wine & Pizza Bar

I've dined here twice now (not a local, but remembered this place when I came back to Gosford for a second time and HAD to eat here again!) I wish I got the waitress's name who served us last Wednesday night as she was an absolute pleasure! Unfortunately the pizza oven broke down and she phoned us ahead of our booking to let us know, the poor thing was running to and from the kitchen to the tables to let everyone know the situation with the oven. There was a couple at a table who were clearly cranky about it however she handled the situation so well. The oven started working again and we ended up ordering the most delicious banquet. All the food was incredible. Couldn't fault it. As we got to the counter to pay, she then realised we had a birthday under the booking. She apologised she didn't see it earlier, told us to wait there, ran off, then ran back over holding a lit candle and sung Happy Birthday to my partner as we paid. It's truly unseen these days getting service like this, she was such a beautiful person! Next time we're in the area we certainly will be back.

We love Pinocchios! The food is great (especially for vegans looking for plenty of options), the team are lovely and the place has a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to be back. P.s; the cocktails are FAB.:)

Wow what a great place overlooking the park with a variety of seating options. Tables and chairs or outside on the street bar stools and high vertical standing tables

It was almost a 5 star experience but was disheartened when they didn't have non alcoholic wine on the menu and was told we were unable to BYO.

Six of us had a delicious meal. I personally loved the vegan options, but we all agreed the food and service was fantastic.

Have been here multiple times since opening a few years back and the restaurant still offers great food and service. This particular visit was for the Truffle Long Lunch and if you see this event advertised in the future I'd highly recommend getting a table. The service was friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Sat for 15mins before someone asked if we wanted s drink, even just water. Staff more interested in chatting between each other and regular guests than non regular. They could make more income by focusing on getting customers a drink (say a cocktail) on seating. Food ok but wait time from bell ring of service to delivery to table leads to food cooling too much

First time at Pinocchio's with a bunch of girls, some who had been before and raved about it! It lived up to it with yummy food (pizza was my fave) and the cocktails were DELICIOUS!

You guys never fail to exceed all of our expectations.

From the amazing food through to the excellent customer service, we are never disappointed.

Can't wait to come back for another dining experience

Unfortunately the pizza has become inconsistent and progressively gone down hill. I have visited about four times for dinner in the last six months and have been progressively disappointed by the pizza. I can only conclude that they possibly have inexperienced pizza makers at the moment because there was a time about a year ago that it was quite good. The wine, cocktails and service also vary and can be inconsistent depending upon the day of the week and how busy the venue is, but the staff are always courteous and very friendly.

It’s important to note that good pizza is all about the quality, taste and texture of the base and crust and not just the toppings. On a recent visit on a busy Saturday night the pizza base was so thin that you could not even pick it up and the crust too thick and doughy. It also wasn’t hot enough. The toppings were however, generous and very fresh. Here’s hoping they will make a valiant effort to rectify the problem in the very near future and bring back yummy, good quality pizza, because I miss it.

Absolutely fantastic in every way! The food was incredible, had the slow cooked duck ragu gnocchi and pork belly pizza, both were amazing.
The vibe is moody and warm and the service was great.
Cocktails were also very tasty, would highly recommend the Manhattan.

We had a great lunch at Pinocchios. By far the best pizzas I've ever had. The hostess was lovely and suggested a beautiful wine for us and even let us taste it first which we really appreciated.

Pretty good pizza and that. Beer taps were offline so lost a star there. Place is more of a wine vibe.

Excellent all round. Great food, great service.
Especially loved the polpette. (Can I please have the sauce recipe?). A hidden gem in an otherwise dodgy town.

Really enjoyed our night here. The food is exceptional (don't pass on the arancini balls or the potatoes for entrees - they are sooo delicious!) The pizza is great too. Staff were efficient and extremely friendly. The wine list is long and covers all budgets. Highly recommend this lovely little restaurant. It wasn't our first time and it will definitely not be our last.

I almost want to gatekeeper how good this restaurant is but they deserve the 5 stars. Food and drinks were exceptional, the desserts were amazing, service was great. I take my staff to a new restaurant every year for Xmas, they’ve been to Reef, Cowrie, SeaSalt, every good restaurant on the Coast and this was their favourite. If only they had cappuccino to have with dessert. I know it’s an Italian breakfast drink but only drip coffee with dessert doesn’t do it for me.

As far as Gosford goes this is as good as it gets. Great pizza, wine and service. Worth multiple visits.

We would love to see a steak on the menu Maybe grass fed scotch fillet? Nice salmon dish or fish?

The chefs put in great effort in the kitchen and I believe Thay could offer a great steak / grilled salmon / fish
