A fantastic visit to the Pilliga Information Center. Special Thankyou to Kate who was very informative and helpful with our questions about the Pilliga Shrub.
Good work done by all National Parks

Exceptionally helpful lady at this info centre and it is well worth a visit. Interactive exhibits, great history boards, gift shop and local brochures & books. Very enjoyable visit and the added bonus of a nearby IGA +Liquor supermarket nearby to stock up on provisions.

A small information center with friendly staff. They will guide you about the different options in and around Pilliga. The centre has some stuffed native animals and bird. Good information about the native forests.

The lady at the centre is just amazing! She was very helpful. She gave us the right information. She even considered the kind of a car we have and the weather in last few days before suggesting the routes.

We provided impeccable directions to sandstones caves.

She also gave bird routes to my child. She also suggested the bird route to use and how to use it. We are going to look for bird routes from now where ever we go!

The toilets are very clean and has soap and paper towels.

It has display of many fauna found locally. It helped us identify some of the birds we saw on our way to and fro.

If new to the Pilliga then go here first. Great info and all the maps and spots to see. We found the Pilliga alive with all the creeks running and the forest carpeted with beautiful wild flowers.

Visited the Discovery Centre to find out what tracks were open for driving and best places to visit. The Ranger was very helpful providing us with maps and great directions to get to Sculptures in the Scrub.
Great set up too so that the visitor can learn all about The Pilliga history and surrounding area if short on time to actually do a bush walk. Ample street parking and clean amenities if required by visitors. Well worth a visit!
