Piggs Peake Winery reviews
43Aidan was the most amazing guide throughout our tasting. He easily matched our energy and made the experience laid back and easy to understand. Very knowledgeable. I would ask for him again. Piggs Peake wines are unmatched.
Highly recommend if you're into red wines, thanks Alex for making our wine tasting experience enjoyable! Our favourites were the Deliverance, Pigs Juice, Pork & Prune and Suckling Pig.
Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting here. Folks were friendly esp Clint who was so patient with us. Their sweet wines are so divine that we bought a box of 12 to take home.
Always a favourite for tastings and of course purchasing some fine wine. Today we purchased 2 amazing big reds Deliverance and Pork Hunt.
Great service and such knowledgeable engaging staff. Wines are really good with such diversity across red and white wines. Something special going on there. Highly recommended
Loved this place. Super friendly and Knowledgeable staff, fun vibe, lovely wine. You get a whole experience here.
Clint was an amazing wine taster host!
Definitely ask for him in your next wine tasting!
Incredible!
Awesome place to have a tasting!
Clint was very friendly and accommodating.
Had a great experience, great wines too!
Great experience with your expert cellar door staff we purchased 13 bottles and will be ordering more Great wine from you.thank you.
Excellent little place to go. My wife and I had never done a winery visit. These guys was great, relaxed, and informative session, with no pressure to purchase wine even though the tasting was free.
The staff were very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tasting. Some grape varieties we hadn't tasted before. Recommended.
There are cellar doors and there is Piggs Peake winery.
A breath of fresh air.
Wide open clean open spaces but such a friendly welcoming feel.
Warm welcoming informative staff who are eager to help, guide and discuss the wines. The novice and expert are treated to great tastings and exploration of the wines.
A treat not to be missed.
Their wine tasting was very informative and they had a good range of wines to try. I really appreciate their attitude towards winemaking, you can see they do it for the love of wine and are not afraid to try new things. The guinea pig was a highlight! I will come again!
We were served by Clint for a wine tasting. He was great! So informative and friendly. Made it a memorable and educational experience. Thank you so much Clint & Piggs Peake. The wines are consistently excellent, there is something for everyone
Cannot recommend enough. Great wines and super friendly team- we stopped at some amazing wineries however this was the highlight in terms of tastings.
Special shout out to Alex who was thoroughly entertaining (as well as being very knowledgeable).
Came in yesterday with my friend, must say this is my favourite winery in the Hunter and my friend was equally impressed. Emily had served us, she was outstanding, great knowledge of her wines whites and reds and she hit the nail on the head considering my favourite wine is Lambrusco this is the only winery who cater for it. This will be my Hunter go to every time I return. The wines have outstanding flavour, quality, not acidic like a lot of the other cellars in the Hunter. Above the standard. Thank you guys.
Enjoyed the tasting, found mist if the reds a bit sweet for my palate. Talked to Steve and explained some of the new varieties they have put down. We will visit again soon.
I was assisted by both Robyn and Jarred (excuse the possible incorrect spelling) who are the loveliest people that you'll meet. Helpful, patient, funny, genuine, knowledgeable and you can see that they care about each other too. Given how busy this place can get, it is just incredible.
But this place is about the wine. And they have amazing sweeter wines with interesting pig related names. They are lower in alcohol than most wines out there, which is great because they taste so good you won't want to stop as early.
Book in during holiday season and weekends because you don't want to miss this place!
Such s great crowd pleaser. There's not a wine, you won't like. The cellar door is accessible. Staff are fantastic, they go way beyond great customer service.
Such an amazing winery. I have to say it’s grown a lot since we last visited. We’ve always visited every time we travel to the hunter and after all these years they still remain an amazing winery and cellar door. We were even shown around a little by the wine maker after remarking how much it had changed. It’s really refreshing to see and be hosted by people that take such pride in their work! Thanks again!
