Pie Face

Was hoping to get a chunky steak pie, however at 3pm, there was no savory food available. I opted, then for a small lemon tartlet and a double shot flat whilte, both of which were very disappointing. Not sure how this place survives really - maybe the real cooking goes on out the back.

The staff member who served was very professional and friendly, the three stars I give here is for good and friendly service. I purchased a chunky meat pie. The sauce that the pie was baked in was running thin and the chunks of meat were almost non existent. The quality of these products seemed to have gone in the last twenty years.

Second time today and purchased a pie and a sausage roll. Both had been reheated at least once. Very hard. Definitely not going back.

Very unprofessional crew, had a small issue and I obliged, one of their customers then verbally abused myself and a friend and they stood their and didn’t do anything about it. Will not go there ever again.

This is the worst place i have been too, I have pulled up in a small car park with and Mr truck the owner has come out and abused me and my crew and also threatened us and there where still 4 available carparks for customers, I was going to have a beer then head over and get food then leave, her behaviour was disgrace full and to all the truck drivers out there be aware of this person and this store aboustly distrusting

Awesome or about dry but it was late in the day, but otherwise beautiful food and lovely lady serving

Really worth checking them out. Great coffee and range of savoury and delicious pastries, cakes and muffins. Slowly making my way threw their selection of pies and sausage rolls.

I went in the other day, got a toasty which had mold on it was not impressed! There was a lady on she was too busy talking to one customer rather than paying attention to what she had to do, I had a coffee which wasn't horrible but wasn't the best. I decided to go to chickos for lunch which was delicious but I ended up being late getting back to work since I wasted my time going here first. Definitely do not recommend.

Was the most disappointing pie I've ever eaten. Next time if there's a next time. I will ask for a straw to eat it

Been here three times waste of time each time, either ran out of sausage rolls or wait ages for the one barista to serve, should have a server and a barista, losing customers cant be good in these times, won't be back

Second worst pie I've had in my life. Nice pastry but the filling was a runny gravy. Should be called soup face. Do yourself a favour. Get some KFC.

You would expect a shop that specialises in pies would do it well but the pies are only just average

Great place, attentive staff, friendly service and a good range of Poe's and sandwiches. Free sauce and Australian owned and run.
One thing, it opens at six. That is also when they apparently put the pies in the oven. Expect no hit food before about seven.

Good service, nice place, but need more options and more tasty content inside the pie and on the top of the donuts

Pie face Figtree is a wonderful cafe. We visit this fine establishment frequently, coffee excellent, todays newspapers, clean and tidy, excellent range of food, nice atmosphere along with outdoor seating, parking at the front door Joe and Sandra (owners) are polite and very hospitable. These pies were found at the side of the road because someone didn’t want to eat them. 1 year later they were sold at this shop for an expensive price. This is because they know you are not going to come back.

Actually went into the Illawarra Vet Hospital next door to Pie Face, one of only a few vet's that were open on a Sunday / Public Holiday Long Weekend, to hand in a native bird in distress a Galah, as native animals are treated free by vet's and they can contact Wire's wildlife without delay, found excellent service was provided by all of the staff,

Off tap pies, rolls, and the usual coffee joint in the morning. These guys kill the pastry game though.

Smooth coffee at the perfect temperature. Tandoori vegetable pie is delicious. Keep cup friendly
