I love to support local but unfortunately can't rate Picton Hire. We hired the aerator for the lawn. Not cheap and the machine was so old, I thought someone was playing a joke! Really needs the scrapheap. It stopped working several times and needed restarting throughout the job. The poor young guy at the yard couldn't even start it, and it was so hard to manavoure and change the height. It's worth the travel to hire from somewhere else if hiring the aerator.

They do not maintain their equipment and refuse to take responsibility if anything happens.

Just hired a Dingo with Stump Grinder attachment, Took a little getting use to but mastered in the end, Great Machine Great people to deal with thanks Picton Hire.
Tryed to rent us a trailer with bald tyres and spare was split and flat.
We had to change the tyres ourselves that we took off another trailer, we had to search as most were in same condition.
I understand new owners.but cutting corners will not bring back customers

Worst experience ever. Be careful to read conditions because they hold you liable for any and all problems they can find on their equipment when returned. Not open to any agreement when their equipment has issues. Pay a little extra and go to kennards or Coates as they have some consumer protection in place. No stars
