What a great little secret this place is! If you enjoy space and nature then don't delay. Took this group of delightful elderly out for the day 10,000 steps and fun had by all. Really folks get you parents, kids, family out there it costs only your time.

I had never been there but was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the gardens. It is a family friendly park.

This is a great location for relaxing, a walk, exercise. Very Dog Friendly including a dog off lead area. Walk over the suspension Bridge and turn left.

It's not a botanic garden. It's closer to a reserve. I've been to many botanic gardens and this is not one.

I was not sure how I felt about the botanic gardens so I started reading other reviews.
I learned:
1) Everything is all dry during the drought,
2) Everything is all wet during the floods
3) There are strange people hanging around
and all of these things give the park 1 star reviews.
I also learned that it gets three stars for "being a lovely place to have a wedding".
I guess if you want a 3 star wedding?
Look its 5 stars.
Well maintained, great facilities.it gets wet when it rains, it is dry in a drought and there are strange people everywhere that leave strange reviews about the wetness or lack there of in a park.
It is also true it is a great place for a wedding or other functions.
We are lucky to have such a fantastic public space in town.
Well done and thanks that those that maintain it.

A pretty and peaceful spot. It's on the footpath to the dog park. It would make a pretty spot for an outdoor wedding or celebration.

Due to continued rains. Garden and area around lake was muddy. Difficult to walk safely. Otherwise. Lush green relaxing weekend

Lovely place. Green and wide garden with trees. Loved the oval on the other side. Children play ground has best options for kids to enjoy. Parking available.

Small parking site but adequate.
Nice polished chairs are available throughout the park. Beautiful view and not crowded.
Long walking/cycle track. Water station, toilet, children playground, pond available.
The bin is so smelly with dog poo.
It would be helpful to have more maps around.

The gardens are amazing for peace and quiet, it does gets closed at 5pm but there is a portion of the garden that is open 24/7, me and my Dad went there at 1am when we were having hard talks, and the calmness of the atmosphere was just great

A beautiful, serene little release from the modern world, right in the center of Picton town. Remarkably well maintained, the standard of cleanliness is ever more notable coming to the Garden from Sydney
