Physio Place reviews
11 I have been attending the Physio Place for over six years. During that time I have had treatment for ongoing back pain, knee injury and more recently shoulder surgery.
My physio is Carley Jennar and I cannot speak highly enough of her. Not only has she assisted me with management of pain and gaining full functionality, particularly of my shoulder, she understands my personality and has empathy with me on a personal level. Guidance, exercise physiology, massage and so much more.
I have experience of other physios when living in Sydney and rate Physio Place as A1 -the best! Thank you for improving my quality of life and movement.
After previous surgery for medial meniscus repair, previous broken ankle and sore plantar fascia I was having a lot of trouble with right calf tightness and a sore knee. Mitch used a variety of treatments, massage, dry needling plus stengthening and stretching exercises to help me improve my mobility. I can walk everyday without pain now. Mitch is knowledgeable, thorough and personable.
After sustaining a severe bursitis injury to my hip, I was referred to Mitch, both with consult and treatment at medical centre rooms and also at Physio Place. Mitch was personable, professional and knowledgeable, and full credit to him for my quite speedy recovery. These kinds of injuries can take many months of therapy to resolve, yet here we are done and dusted in 3. I was very impressed with Mitch’s varied modalities for treatment, from massage, dry needling and physio therapy to Pilates. Totally recommend and encourage others to give Mitch and Physio Place a visit, you definitely won’t regret it! Thank you so much Mitch
I'M ALL BETTER NOW! Not thanks to the Physio Place though.
The staff were nice, initially.
Overall I found my treatment poor, very poor.
No diagnosis given, they really had no idea at all, no relief from the stabbing pain following my treatment.
The only real actual treatment provided was a short massage which was poor, I didnt feel any benefit from it all.
There was no extra effort to investigate my symptoms, I was advised to get an MRI. In theory that sounds fine, but I was told they cost about $500, it wasnt a great option for me.
In an attempt to save a bunch of money and find the cause, I researched my symptoms and to my surprise in about 5 mins, found a common condition that seemed to fit. The cause seemed obvious also.
I have now stopped what I suspected was causing the pain and it has reduced significantly.
When I gave feedback, Linda became condescending and passive aggressive. No attempt was made to rectify the situation.
I explained I investigated and think I found the cause myself, she mocked and ridiculed me for doing this and for not seeking professional advice. I pointed out I had sought professional advice, expensive advice at The Physio Place with no result at all.
She then said, "well you got the result you were after. "
Im not exactly sure when healthcare providers stopped caring, but its a damn shame.
I have been very fortunate to be referred to Mitch at this practice which is efficient, clean & very professional. Mitch is very knowledgeable & I would be happy to refer him to I any clients needing a physio J. D.
My wife and myself went to see Mitch to learn how to do Pilates. We were after strength, balance improvements. Mitch was amazing, he explained the exercises, made us work hard - which we loved, put on music as we went through the routines. We would recommend Physio Place for Pilates as it is a caring and fun place to go. We have booked in for ongoing group classes
Just over 3 months ago I suffered a complete MCL tear to my knee. Thanks to Mitch I am almost back to normal, far sooner than I expected or advised by my doctor. Thank you Mitch, I am so grateful to you. I really enjoy, and find beneficial, the combination of physiotherapy and pilates which I have been treated with recently. What a bonus having it all in house and under the care of a physio. I fully recommend Physio Place and their physiotherapists.
Great physios and therapeutic massage, pilates classes run by physios.
2023 Update,
I'm still going to Thursday night pilates classes here, strength training help for osteoporosis is available. Pilates here has helped repair bulging disc areas for my husband also, with all classes directed by physios, Karly, Mitch or Alex. Physio appointments worthwhile as well. Still a top spot with easy parking.
I’ve been to many different physiotherapists over the years but I have found that Physioplace physiotherapist are the best of the best!
There knowledge and understanding of the body is amazing.
There ability to explain what is causing issues or why they are doing/prescribed certain thing and make it easy to understand is mind blowing!
I highly recommend Dominic, he has helped me prevent having knee surgery due to a tear in my meniscus and my knee hasn’t felt better since I was a teenager.
6 stars!
Great happy atmosphere. Highly qualified, professional physiotherapy staff. Reception always polite and keen to help in anyway. I love the Therapy and the Pilates classes. Located at a very convenient spot. Close to all amenities. Well done physio place.
Love.love.love this place and its practitioners. Scott and Jarrod have been instrumental in my progression with special thanks to Jarrod for being firm and realistic. Without his no nonsense approach I wouldn't be without constant pain. I highly recommend dry needling.
