My husband needed a photo for visa application to China. Post Office recommended this shop since the specific requirements are different from the photo for an Australian passport. PhotoKing has settings for visa photos of many different countries. The photographer, Tony, did a great job within just a few minutes. Price is reasonable for both paper and digital photos. Very impressive. This is the place to go if you need a visa photo. Definitely will go back.

Just needed some snaps printed. Sooooo much better than using Office Works. Photo King was easier, faster, better quality. Website was easy to use and could pick up next day.

This was my second time using this place for an ID photo. Last time was for me this time was for my son. He actually went to another place in Charing Cross and it was awful! The photographer there took a photo (just one) in one second and didn't even check/size it. Didn't show us the picture either. There was not enough lighting and he looked terrible. Definitely not good enough for his passport photo for 5 years. So I took him to Photo King as I remembered they took a very good ID photo for me a few years ago. Yes, they were as good as last time. The photographer took 3 pictures and let us decide which one we liked to use. Then he measured it and charged the same price as the other place. Trying out another place was just a waste of time and money.

Amazing service by Lawrence! Anything you need Photoking does it best whether it’s canvas or prints. Don’t bother going elsewhere

This photoking shop has very good decoration but very bad quality of passport photo.

The lighting is very bad. After I took the first round my left face is totally in the shade then I asked the photographer to retake the photo but he didn’t change any lighting and the result is just the same. Basically, I have a set of passport photos with my left face under the shadow. They just use a very cheap DSLR with built-in flashlight to take the passport photo.

If you want standard quality of passport photo, don’t go there. I am not even asking for very good quality but just up to standard, they can’t deliver it.

Overall not recommended this studio & never go again.
I just wanted to be taken my 6 months old baby’s ID photo there. Unfortunately, they don’t care about photo quality. There were lot of drooling & bubbles around my baby’s mouth due to teething and my baby’s shoulder uneven on the final printed photo. They didn’t care about it and just printed. Also, front desk male staff has some kind of behavioural issue & didn’t listen properly his customer.

Was a little lost for a father's day present (and may have left it till last minute), a friend recommended Photo King and they did not disappoint. I chose acrylic double sided photo frame, which I was able to upload from my phone and within an hour my order was ready for collection AND even got a follow up phone call to make sure I received the e-mail. I value excellent customer service in certain situations more than the outcome itself, but Photo King was amazing on both front. Highly recommend them and there photos turned out stunning. Thank you

I choose photo lab to have my passport photo taken because my photo will get edited. However Photoking did not edit my photo at all, even I had made a request. I paid $20 for a digital copy only, where Australia Post charges $19.95 for 6 print-out copies and digital. Two days later I called and asked if I could 2 print-out copies, I was told $25 for print-out and digital, but I needed to pay extra $10 for a reprint. I would recommend Auspost or DIY rather than paying this place for very poor value and quality service.

After being recommended by friends, I had my baby’s passport photos taken here today & was impressed with how super quick and easy the staff made it. I also had some family photos printed & was blown away by the print quality especially compared to what i’ve printed in the past at Kmart, officeworks etc - i didn’t think it could make such a massive difference but evidently it does. They look superb hanging on our wall. The staff were very friendly & accommodating, especially with my young son which I really appreciated. Thankyou for a great experience today, I will be returning in the future.

Slow service. Very inconvenient office
hours 10-4pm. We wanted passport photos for our 6yo on the weekend. Had to come back for printouts during the week. Didn't get all the photos we paid for. Had to come back. Long wait each time. Embassy almost didn't accept the photos because face wasn't straight. Will never go there again.

These guys really know how to produce the best quality printed photographs. Highly recommended.

Can't recommend these guys enough. Their turnaround time is incredibly fast and the quality is perfect.

In addition, they are very helpful and will answer any questions and provide help and guidance, along with recommendations on print sizes/formats etc.
