Why?
Petstock has issued a memorandum to staff saying they won't be recognising Australia Day across stores this Friday 26th Jan. '24.
This was ordered by their majority shareholder, Woolworths.
Petstock join a growing list of organisations including Woolworths, Aldi, Tennis Australia and Cricket Australia who have opted to not celebrate or recognise the national day.

Even though the shop is quite small it had a good variety with plenty of stock. Place was clean and easy to find what I was looking for

Two staff serving one customer, after 15 minutes waiting i gave up. Rubbish service and rude staff who don’t acknowledge you

Do not recommend shopping here. We had a very unpleasant experience here yesterday.

When we asked a staff member by the name of Jxxxx for assistance with the harnesses, she snapped at us to “just try them on” and walked away. Choosing a harness was not easy because the price was a consideration, and very few harnesses had prices on them. We had to keep asking for prices which were met with annoyance…when I pointed out that most did not have pricing on them, the response was, “Yes, well, that’s because there are a lot! ”.

I regret making a purchase, but we still did. As we were paying, I provided polite feedback that it had been an unpleasant experience. This was met with a look of disgust and a very patronising “Have a lovely day” as we left the store. Won’t be making the mistake of going back to this store.

We adopted two 11-year-old cats through Ann and since then we have been visiting the store to purchase products. She is an excellent Service Person, good product knowledge, features and benefits. Also, Maddie is another excellent member of your staff with good communication, is friendly and very helpful.
I emailed head office congratulating both young ladies, but the words fell on deaf ears. You are lucky to have such hardworking staff and should show your appreciation.

Great pet shop find almost everything you need at a reasonable price. Staff are very knowledgeable if and when asked

Young lady with blonde hair and glasses, very rude service. Did not greet when walking into store. I stood around for 10 minutes and I had to find a worker myself. This blonde lady was sitting on the floor counting and organising stock. When I approached her, she pretended not to see me and continued ignoring me. I asked her a question and she had attitude with her response, rolling her eyes. Ive spent thousands in this store over the years and i can confirm that I won't be back.

We recently partook in puppy school at Petstock Penrith and were over the moon with the professionalism, training and knowledge of our trainer Taylor. She was fantastic, patient and taught us so much about training our new puppy! Highly recommend!

We had our dog groomed today extremely happy and highly recommend them but she is booked out. We booked for a few months in advanced

Very good but I sometimes feel like the range is limited. However this is not a problem with petbarn and pets warehouse so close with alternative stock options.

Got all your needs for cats, dogs, birds and fish but if your after reptile gear I'd go elsewhere

Food was the best meal I have had in years will be coming back staff were very impressive and knew what they were doing first time here wont be the last. Five star fine dining xoxo

Very helpful and nice staff although after asking for food suggestions for my dog thats alergic to a few things including chicken, they would continue handing me things with chicken in it

I recently went in to buy goldfish only to be met with the loveliest girl who had an amazing amount of knowledge. Another store had sold us a tank and not given us any information about starting it up, she was so helpful in explaining everything about starting it and what we needed
