Watch out when you order anything with this company.
We bought a new dishwasher to be installed in our commercial kitchen. Their employee who arrived to install the dishwasher was incompetent and unable to connect the dishwasher to be in working order. He left without it working.
When We got in touch with the sales man who said they were not liable for any fault with the equipment or how it arrived onsite. They advised to contact the manufacturer. Absolute appalling service from sales, to delivery and no installation.
Currently have new dishwasher in situ, that isn't working and old dishwasher onsite not connected to operate!

Alison was great help today, she assisted me and helped me carry and find all the things I came to Petra for. Petra even gave me a chocolate!

Very poor management system. They get the payment and give you receipt then no news where the good is. I called, they tell me, I need to pay more or cancel the order.

** Be careful people** Company under liquidation ** these guys sold us low quality grade equipment more than a year ago and have not shipped complete equipment till date, they always said will be done next week but nothing till date. And the equipment which we received they shut down on the 2nd day or operating and when we tried to get the refund for the equipment and they said they can't do anything just live with it, so we took them to fair trading & the tribunal and we have been advised that the company is in Liquidation and cannot do anything the we have to cop the loss of around $38,000 due to their shifty actions. Do not buy anything from them.

Be careful of these guys. We approach them to do some works in our shop and we have now been left with a epoxy flooring that is deteriorating and parts of the shop that has NOT been finished and has been no response back from petra.after months of chasing them, we find out that they have put the company we paid into liquidation and can not do anything. Petra are criminals to the hospitality industry.

Petra Equipment are a really good company to deal with. Honest and trustworthy. I would recommend Simon and the team at Petra to anyone looking at opening a cafe. Will definitely shop with them again.

Not worth one star. Sales rep promised big but little happened. Bought an oven and a dishwasher, the installation guy knows nothing about the oven and dishwasher, causes big problems. Oven was wrong one and they don’t intended to fix the problem. Delivery fee doubled comparing other suppliers. Delivery guys popped in besides delivering equipment but also surprisingly ask things for free. Very disappointed don’t want to deal with them anymore.

Service absolutely dreadful. Tried to purchase a new deep fryer and had to call and text many several times over the course of a week just to get some information on when it would arrive. They were very responsive up until I paid for the item, then it was "call you in 5" and no one called.

After the deep fryer finally arrived and was installed it's been endless issues. Supposed to be a brand new fryer and it continually turns off. The thermostat was incorrectly set, pilot light wasn't set properly, switches off over 160 degrees. Speaking to their service team is totally useless! Called 8 times in 3 days and finally have someone coming out to fix it on Friday (our busiest day).

3 weeks of having only 1 small deep fryer in our shop. What a joke!

Paul and the guys were so awesome and helpful. Got me a fridge at 6pm on a Friday for my cafe and came in on a Saturday to help us pick it up. Couldn't recommend them more. I will definitely be using them again.

Online price of paramount bm20ats planetary mixer was $2,453 inc gst as per picture screen attached - it says to call for a better price once you provide your ABN. I called and the salesman Matt says best I can do is $3,200 inc gst. I say online it’s $2,453 inc gst - he says let me call you back. Never called me back, I try to buy online, they jacked the price to $3,890 inc gst.
Have never ever dealt with any company like this who puts the price up so dramatically when they know they have a buyer.
Called back again today to confirm - price is now $3,600 from another salesman at Petra equipment! Unreal.
