Trained with Pete for 8 months 2 days a week, had very bad back problems and knee pains. He helped me and taught me through it, and now I'm pain free. Also he's funny

Training with Pete has really helped me stick to exercise and therefore get fit. Pete created an individual program that considered my age and lack of fitness. I'm now enjoying boxing and lifting weights and I feel really good about myself, after training with Pete. I work hard, build up a sweat, have fun and get results, what more could you ask for!

Peter is unreal. I lost close to 10kg training with Peter. He made me feel welcome right from the start and somehow actually has me enjoy going to training.

My husband and I started training with Pete last year and have had only positive results since. He has tailor designed our training programmes specifically to help us to achieve our goals and he updates and modifies them regularly to help us to get ahead and add some variety to our training.

I really enjoy training with Pete. He has a real focus on the right exercises for your goals and what is right for your body.
From day one he has always ensured that I am doing the exercises correctly, have good core stability and that we are listening to my body.
I've trained with Pete for 6 years and he's not only helped me get into shape but also helped me to identify issues with my body and worked with closely with my physio to tailor my work outs.
I've been to other trainers who about the quick results, but Pete wants to ensure that exercising is sustainable.
If you don't love gyms, and want a trainer with proper experience and gives you a highly personal experience, then Pete's your guy.

I started training with Pete almost 2 & a half years ago and have found him to be a great trainer who is a surprisingly down to earth guy and loads of fun. He has been a huge help to me in losing weight and something I never believed would happen, he actually has me enjoying going to training.

I was skeptical when I first came across one of Pete’s advertisements but I met with him and started training and his business is actually everything it claims to be.
I started training with Pete and had never found training to be a more enjoyable experience and as far from training in a gym environment as anything I could imagine. It’s quiet (except for the kids running around), it’s private (well again except for the kids) and you don’t feel so self conscious or that you are constantly being watched but what really cannot be understated is the fact that Pete gets results. Thanks to his training I have lost weight, toned up and have never looked or felt better.

Peter Petrou fitness is a great and affordable personal trainer based in Surry Hills. Pete is a great trainer who I now consider a cherished friend. If you don't want to go to a gym and are looking for a personal trainer who trains you in a private family environment you can't go wrong with Pete.

After taking a long break from exercising Peter developed a plan for me to ease into a regime that I adapted well into without the feeling of being overwhelmed.
His exercises were simple but effective and they are techniques that I have managed to learn and use during my own time.

Peter's great sense of humour and professionalism made getting back into exercise fun and not such a daunting experience. He certainly gave me the motivation that I was looking for.

I am looking forward to training with Peter again in the not too distant future!

I always enjoyed training but never new if I was doing the right exercises or doing them properly. After meeting with Pete he got me doing some core stability workouts that I still find him slipping into my training program every couple of months. He then started me doing some workouts that consisted of half boxing and half weights training with some great sit up exercises and stretching which he includes with all of his workouts. He is constantly changing and improving my workouts as now he gets me doing workouts that consist of half boxing and half kettlebell training with sit ups and stretching to finish. And he is always teaching me something about training.
Not only that but he is a great guy, lots of fun and always makes me laugh.

When I started training with Pete I was not sure what to expect. I have had a couple of trainers in the past and they both where your stereotypical personal trainer. Pete’s great, he is a great trainer who is down to earth and really helps make training fun.

I tried training a few times before I met Peter but never enjoyed it or stuck to it. Peter actually makes training fun, he is constantly making me laugh and I have definitely noticed a difference in myself as I have gone down almost 3 dress sizes in the 18 months I have trained with him and find I now actually enjoy going to his place for training twice a week.

After having my daughter I didn’t think I was ever going to get my figure back. Pete has helped so much. His training is fun, it works and as well as me getting results my daughter loves it when I go to training cause she comes along and plays with Pete’s kids.

I have trained with numerous personal trainers and tried more than my share of gyms before I started training with Pete. I had moderate results but found the personal trainers to be either to hard core or just not very professional and the gyms to be sleazy and intimidating.
Training with Pete is none of those things. Since training with Pete, I have lost weight, toned up and found that my whole body shape is changing for the best. He obviously has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to training and surprisingly I find us discussing topics such as books, his kids and life in general and he always makes me laugh.
Pete isn’t just a great trainer he is a great guy and definitely not what you would expect from someone who used to be a boxer.

Peter is a great trainer. He listens to you and adjusts your workouts to suit if you (like me) have picked up plenty of middle aged ailments that need managing. He occasionally changes things up to keep the sessions fresh, and finds the right balance between understanding, motivation and the occasional kick up the backside when you're slacking off. He DOESNT use loud stereotypical rubbish to keep you going, and I doubt (chilli aside) the phrase 'feel the burn' has ever passed his lips.

Most importantly he's a genuine guy with life experience who is engaging, friendly and funny. I might not like getting up to workout at 6am, but I've stuck with it longer than any other routine in my life because once I'm there he makes it enjoyable. Who can resist discussing the relative merits of films and books while gasping for breath under a deadlift?

He also does a killer rendition of Kenny Rogers 'The Gambler'.

I swear by Pete. I have tried all sorts of different diets and found my weight yoyo up and down. I have used other personal trainers and done fitness classes at the gym for years but always found it hard to stick to either one. Until I started training with Pete. First of all Pete makes training fun to the point where I actually enjoy and look forward to training.

Peter's approach to training is outstanding. Having been a professional athlete, he brings a commitment to safe, disciplined training that ensures long lasting results for clients of all abilities. I cannot recommend Peter highly enough, and would give him more than five stars if I could.

Training with Pete is lots of fun and he gets results. If you don’t like gyms or the typical gym environment then Pete is definitely for you. He is a great trainer who always tries to make training fun. He trains you out of his private home gym and his wife and kids who are never too far away just add to the ambience.
