I recently had laser eye surgery with PersonalEyes after wearing glasses for over 20 years. My only regret is not doing this sooner. The recovery was so quick - I could see clearly by the night after my surgery, and my vision only continued to improve the following day onwards. The staff were really friendly and Dr Bala was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering having it done.

Dr Bala and his team were excellent throughout the entire journey/procedure. I’m very happy with my vision so far and it hasn’t even been 24 hours!

Today is one day after my lasik surgery and I am so amazed at the result! The team and Dr Bala at Personaleyes have been extremely caring and comforting throughout the whole process. No pain during the surgery but slight discomfort after is normal! I went home and took a short nap and then my eyes were completely comfortable and clear. I highly recommend them!

I had my LASIK procedure done by Dr Bala and I could not speak more highly of my experience at PersonalEYES, the entire team were incredible. The girls who are at reception are friendly and make you feel comfortable straight away. The workers who did all the tests and checks were also fantastic and thorough with everything. BEWARE DR CHANDRA BALA! If things go wrong due to surgery then they WON'T honour their written terms and conditions (ALL GUARANTEES ARE FAKE) ; no aftercare, no rectifying treatments and no refund. Very negligent staff, doctors and system. It was my worst decision choosing them for eye surgery.

6/3.8 visual acuity in both eyes by the next day.

After my consultation I opted for bladeless lasik with a lifetime retreatments package. They did not try to sway me towards any particular package but personaleyes has 25 years experience in bladeless lasik and for only approximately $1,300 more it seemed like a good investment to have lifetime retreatments rather than only 1 year.

All staff members were polite, fun to talk to and were willing to answer any questions I had. Also, they took good care of me after surgery while waiting to be picked up.

Before the operation, Dr Bala filled me in on what to expect throughout the procedure, it was straight forward and as described. There were no scary surprises though the sensation of the suction cup which holds the eye in place was slightly more noticeable than I had imagined.

Throughout the operation I felt no pain, the most scariest part of the surgery was watching the flap being moved away then returned but it all happened quickly in a few actions which seemed to be as per routine for the surgeon.

If you are thinking about Lasik then do it, from what I have gathered the operation itself is nothing to be worried about. Just make sure you follow the post operation instructions to avoid infection or moving the flap as it is healing.

Detailed, caring and informative care from the initial assessment to the treatment and aftercare. I felt like I was in the best care and I was given plenty of support throughout. I would highly recommend Personal Eyes for anyone considering Laser vision correction surgery!

Best money I've ever spent. I'm 6 months post op now. The healing was really quick and I was able to see perfectly within a few hours of my surgery. The staff at PersonalEYES were incredible and Dr Bala made me feel very calm going into the surgery room.

Best self-care decision I made for myself in 2022. Expect to integrate eye-drops into your daily routine, but a small price to pay for regaining clear vision.

I spent many years humming and hawing at the idea of laser eye surgery and finally did it! I’ve always been quite squeamish about anything to do with my eyes, it’s literally taken me 10 years to get to this point. And if I’m honest it was a bit scary and painful (I also wasn’t expecting to smell my eyeballs burning!). However it is incredible how quickly you are able to see. My eyes are dry all the time but I understand this part of recovery and will get better in time. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because I had to wait 5 hours for the procedure which caused me more stress. I did come in December so this is likely just a busy time of year.

My son had his Lasik correction surgery done at Personal Eyes in the city. I must say all the staff there were very helpful and friendly from Merlissa, Cassandra, Madelyn, Veronica, Cheryl and Dr Bala. They were reassuring and open about the surgery even allowing direct viewing and videoing the operation. Cost is capped, so you know there are no hidden costs. All eye checks, operation, Specialist consultation, eye drops, medications and follow ups are included in one price. The Practice is conveniently located next to Wynyard train station making access easy. Surgery itself was quick and painless and my son can see the next day already without glasses. No complications whatsoever. Highly recommended if you wish to have Laser correction for your short sightedness.

It’s currently day 2 post-op for my LASIK surgery and I’m pleased with my experience. I have been able to achieve beyond 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/20 vision in my left eye. As context, my eye power was -5.25/-5.5 so it has been a life filled with glasses and contacts, and avoiding a lot of water activities.

I initially had a consult with Dr Kerry Meads at the Parramatta clinic where she recommended I go ahead with LASIK procedure for my eyes.

The staff at the CBD clinic were friendly and reassuring throughout the process on the day. They answered all the questions my partner asked, helping us both feel more equipped to handle recovery. The surgery itself was fast - a little uncomfortable but otherwise fast and you honestly can’t focus on/see anything that’s happening.

My eyes were sensitive and excessively watering post surgery but after my 3-4 hour nap at the hotel, my eyes felt incredibly better and I could see just fine. Post-op check was great and Dr Bala was funny and down to earth on both days I saw him.

Overall, a great experience for a daunting process. I look forward to my 1 week and 1 month post-op check to hopefully hear that my recovery is going as planned. It’s already life changing to wake up and be able to see my surroundings so thank you to Dr Bala and the PersonalEYES team ️

Had my LASIK surgery at personalEYES last week and had a very positive experience. The clinic is run very efficiently, everyone I interacted with were helpful and professional. Results are amazing so far as well. Would recommend this clinic!

At first I was quite nervous about my LASIK surgery, but the staff did a lot of tests and assured me that all was good to go. During the surgery day, I only spent a few hours at the office, and 15 min max at the surgery room. I could see immediately after, with a blur, next day was a lot better, and on the 3rd day all the blur was gone, and I could already see far away. I was a bit anxious that my right eye was taking longer to recover, but the regular check-ups assured me it's normal. A few months later my eyes are 100% and I have better than 20/20 vision, couldn't be happier
