Daniel did a top job of demonstrating, and organising delivery of our new Tiguan. His product knowledge was excellent, and the extra personal vehicle video he included was much appreciated.

This was my second time purchasing a new vehicle from Penrith Volkswagen and it's been a wonderful experience both times. Kareem, our Sales Consultant was extremely helpful in finding us the right car for our needs and took the time to ensure we were happy each step of the process.

Daniel had to step in after the first person I dealt with left the company, he was great in keeping me up to date, answered all my question and provided the smooth delivery of my Tiguan.

Terible management, shocking experience! I have been servicing my car at penrith vw for the past 4 years and the service is getting worse every visit. After getting charged $1200+ for a 60k service with little to no explanation on the works (just reading what was printed on the service sheet which is a typical copy paste job) as always they returned the car unwashed, which this time I decided to ask why the car wasn't washed as this was the 3rd time this was happening. Previous times they claimed that they were busy and couldn't get to washing it but this time they said the car was washed when going through the paperwork in the office but when I got the car it was clear that they lied and the car was not washed (I took photos for proof). If in the paperwork they wrote car is handwashed but it wasn't I would question the entire list of items they claimed that it was changed or checked. I really don't feel safe driving my kids in the car after this experience as I'm not sure if the service was done thorough with all nuts and bolts fastened properly.
When confronted the service attendant he assured me that all the works gets video recorded and will be sent the next day as an sms but I never recieved any videos.when I called the service centre the next day they said we can't find any recording for your works but they assured me to investigate and get back to me! It's been 4 weeks and still no follow ups.

Poor communications, made a deposit on a vehicle, it was conditional on finance. My financial position changed and I no longer qualified for finance. I was assured back in May that the refund would be made promptly. I asked again in June, and was assured the refund would be issued. My last attempt was 13 July, I received an apology from the salesman Miles, and an assurance that the refund would be forthcoming. Still waiting

Lost my car, returned after 4 weeks to only breakdown 4kms out of the workshop! Wanted one thousand dollars deposit to pull engine apart when all it needed was new coils worth $200. Door damaged on return, and had my car for 4 months in total! Rude and disorganised management to say the least!

Penrith Volkswagen has extremely bad management and terrible customer service! We've been customers for more than 8 years but the service is getting worse with time! We ordered Volkswagen car parts to be delivered to us but the staff made errors in the ordering process and delayed delivering the car parts to us. Then they lied to us about what happened and why the order was not placed properly and why the delivery was late. This delayed our car from getting fixed and drivable again and caused us hardship during the severe NSW flooding. They have poor communication, incompetent and unprofessional management and staff, they don't empathise with customers and the service is bad and unsatisfactory.

Very disappointed. I took my 2013 Golf last year for a service. Tried to book a service today and now they're telling me that they cannot service my car because it's over 6 years old. To my knowledge when they serviced my car last year it was over 6 years old as well.

Incredible service produced by the whole team @ VW Penrith.
Massive shout-out to our main guy Daniel in sales always providing the best vehicles to myself & my family with the most ultimate professionalism, as well to Andre in sales assisting heavily in the sale providing the opportunity.

From the sales team to the finance team in which Sharleen in finance achieved the financial goal of securing the vehicle, I can't thank everybody enough for their professionalism & being awesome people overall!

Poor communication.
Took a VW Golf for diagnostic due to coolant tubing issue.
Never heard from again for weeks.
Tried calling multiple times but staff never had clear answer.
Followed up with email but still no response.

Shame because on initial visit everything seemed alight.

Professional service and helpful staff on every department I dealt with. Daniel on sales side excelled. His knowledge and recommendations during initial enquiry, practical demonstration of car's features and detailed explanation of service, support etc are really a stand out. Sharleen on finance side excelled by providing detailed information about various finance and insurance options. Combinedly, it was truly a straightforward, professional and smooth experience.

This has got to be one of the worst car dealerships I’ve ever been to. This is my second bad experience with them now and I must say they are totally unprofessional.

First experience-
Around this time last year my partner and I came in to look at upgrading his golf. Whenever I would ask the salesman a question he would answer but only answer to my partner (as if my partner was the one who asked the question). He was really pushy and had no disregard for our own time when we made several attempts to leave so we could eat lunch (we had been there for a few hours) but he would always make us wait for something, (e.g our car valuation, a manager, stock etc) I finally said “well we havnt even taken the car for a test drive yet, can we take one to get lunch? ” So they sorted that out for us than shortly after we came back and sat down to negotiate a deal. We told them what we were looking at in price wise and he brought his manager over. She was very rude. I, myself work in sales so I was doing the negotiating when she had the hide to ask me. “Is the car for you? ” And I said “no” (as she already knew this was going to be my partners car) and she said “so your paying for it are you? ” I was in complete shock that someone would be so rude to a customer. The golf R is not a cheap investment and to be spoken to like that! By a sales manager? Completely disrespectful. I felt as though she did not like that I, a young female could negotiate on behalf of my partner. After that we had already made our decision to not buy from the Penrith dealership despite it being our local (3 minutes down the road from our home)
I would also like to note they gave us a trade in price for our current Volkswagen Golf for $6000. Yet 8 months later we were able to sell it for $18,000. Which shows me they are only in the business to rip you off.

Second bad experience-
Last week I called asking to speak to a sales person in regards to a Volkswagen Tiguan. As we were looking to upgrade our SUV now. The lady I spoke to took my details down and assured me someone would call me back that same day.
I never received a call back.
I rang a different dealership and made an appointment to go in on the weekend and we purchased a brand new car on Sunday.
Today (Monday 5: 23pm) a lady from the Penrith dealership finally called me back and I informed her we had already bought a new car because no one called me back. And instead of apologising she then went on to give me every excuse under the sun as to why I didn’t get a call back, I said again “well we have already bought a new car” she than proceeded to ask if I was local to the dealership in which I replied “yes” and than she asked me where I live? Which is just totally unacceptable. Why did she need to know this information? I was quite clear with her when I told her we already had purchased a new car and she proceeded to harass me so I hung up.

This dealership is unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone to go here. You will just be left feeling insulted and disappointed. From the experiences I’ve had I can confidently say they need to do some work on their customer service skills. It’s even more disappointing that the most disrespect seems to come from management.

Had a great VW Service experience at Penrith VW Service on The day before Christmas! I found that Most Mechanics and PanelBeaters are “absolutely Clueless” and don’t want to get involved, when it comes to Cabin water Leaks or AC drainage Leaks, so was delighted by the speedy Assistance and Diagnosis I received for my Touareg, from Natalie, and prompt ACLeak Repair job post Xmas! Sometimes it is wise to Get VW Diagnostics involved-Cos they are specialists and have the knowledge base! So this gave me the confidence in them to request a fix for a Slow Cooling system Leak and Kristie in VW Service got things organized, sourced the System Hoses and Heating Valve, and did a repair as promised- These guys have restored my confidence in VW Service -Thanks!

Buying a car at Penrith Volkswagen (Nepean MotorGroup) was an excellent experience for me right from enquiry through to delivery.
Daniel Ardron was the sales person who has been fantastic, very helpful by sharing every detail possible, not pushing for any decisions, upfront with pricing & negotiations,
keeping me updated with the progress on finances and car delivery updates without needing any follow-up. The whole team - Dan, Andrew (Sales Manager) & Sean are very professional, honest and transparent. Everyone
made efforts to help me purchase new Polo GTI and I'm very happy to have visited Nepean Motorgroup

Had the best experience buying a multivan through these guys - Daniel was an absolute legend and made everything was super easy for us. He made sure that we got the van on the day we wanted it and had it delivered to us because we couldn’t get to Sydney. So happy with the experience and the van!

Yesterday I made an appointment for 10am today to change a globe in my left headlight. I arrived 20minutes early – and was told it would be about 6 hours. I had assumed after having the same job done at Botany, and with the failure to make this mentioned at the time of appointment – that it would take an hour or two. No alternative was given. I rang back later to try to book this for a future day, when it could be done in an hour – and was told the next day at 1pm. 2o minutes later I was called and told that there were no globes in stock only non genuine globes – that she didn’t recommend. What had happened to the original globe? Or was I to leave the car there all day while it was dispatched to site? Was the plan to keep the car just while the delivery was organised? She told me that the service would be over $140 an hour – even though the service (changing the bulb) should be covered by warranty – just the parts should be chargeable. I asked what my response to this should be – and explained that not having a car or waiting outside the shop for 6 hours really didn’t work for me. No alternative was given. Explaining that I was working from home during the Covid 19 virus, and was supervising 2 young children – I was told the lady also was in charge of her child, although she could work. She explained that she was an essential worker - - I had thought essential workers were those in health care or emergency services. I must be thick. She didn’t like me raising my voice. I guess I spoke pretty loud after this nonsense. So she hung up on me. I can’t see myself going back to this branch.

This is a note of thanks to Maddison and the team at Penrith VW. Maddison was really helpful and great to deal with. They were a standout in terms of pricing, backed up with a price match guarantee. I recommend that anyone looking for a VW should get in contact with them. Thanks again.
