3The new guy Joe is truly caring and he’s consistent. He’s called to check on us and we felt listened to. There definitely should be more people like Joe at this place.
Staff are welcoming and friendly when I come on a tower with my saport worker sounded like they had a lot of help to give they were sportive etc that was a year a go. And been backing 2 times this year one Staff member didn't seem interested or say much you know when to stop talking and finish up I didn't get much out of that day! 2nd time I went with a friend to get help they were short Staffed my friend and I sat out the waiting room and spoke to someone out the front waiting room there was no other clients there so we spoke there I got the impression the staff member thought I did not do much with my self I do a lot of things and activities I just agreed the staff member was lovely.the staff member told me different activities to do but you know when to finish up! My friend said to me I didn't fill like it was help fall at all and I would have to agree. My friend took me ells were to get help! I don't find this place help fall so I will not be coming back! The staff are welcoming and friendly I give them that much
I have come in here a few times and the help that I have been given is not really that great to me.
I was told that "I don't need extra services to support me" and everytime one of the staff promise to follow something up nobody gets back to me, no email, no phone call nothing, no referral to help me if I need assistance with something just straight out no.
I feel like the people that work here just want to take the easy way out and not bother with the harder or more difficult clients because it's too much work for them.
I wish I had something more positive to write but these have been my honest experiences when I have walked in there to get help it made me worse.
In saying this I would still recommend you go in there and give it a good try before deciding on whether this is the right support service for you.
