Pendle Hill Meat Market reviews
74Your Pig Heads are unedible in the centre twice we have come across it and yes we have let you know today however we're biting into yesterdays pig head texture is very very tough no crisp to the skin at all and the meat has this slimy consistency to it completely binned. We are long time customers of Pendle Meat Market no complaints about anything else but please speak to whoever is roasting. Don't forget different cooking times for different sized pigheads.
Hands down the best meat shop in Sydney. Quality first, price second (but still very affordable).
Always worth the long drive.
A fabulous market with bargains galore, I have never seen a meat market so large used by the general public, where we Come from in England we have seen nothing on this scale, so jealous.
Fantastic place. Fresh food galore and the freshest meat you will find. The pies from the cafe are amazing. Cafe food awesome and great prices. Great place for weekend breakfast before hitting the meat market.
Pendle hill meat maeket is the best and the cafe has the greatest pies and cakes on earth.
Great place with everything from Meat, Seafood, fruit and vegetables plus excellent grocery range. Great prices.
Fantastic customer service!
After shopping just before closing time, I realised I had left a bag of meat behind when I unpacked at home. I rushed back and they were closed, but 2 of their staff members, Mark and a lady whose name I don't know, couldn't have been more helpful and sorted things out for me. I am a regular customer and always find the staff helpful, but these 2 went above and beyond! Thanks so much Mark and 'unnamed lady', you guys are awesome!
If you're still buying meat at supermarket prices, you're crazy! This place is fantastic and has all the cuts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, fish, seafood, and more. The steak I buy here is half the price of Woolies and Coles. Fruit, vegetables, and staples, all here with lots of parking, and they even have a coffee shop and bakery. I won't go anywhere else to shop, and the service is outstanding.
Excellent quality, still decent value even with 2023 inflation. Friendly service from efficient staff.
Great food shopping experience. Mick and his team are welcoming, and easy going, sorting everything from standard cuts to specialty smallgoods onsite. Great wholesale shopping experience.
Fantastic place. Can get very crowded depending on what day you go. Huge range of chicken, beef and seafood.
Good quality and better prices than Coles and Woolies in general. We make a trip there weekly.
Fantastic market. Great range and fresh. The staff were very nice even though it was crazy busy for Christmas.
Love this place. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and the coffee from their cafe is the absolute best. Plus they sell a wide range of food items not just meat so you can buy almost anything there.
My toy cavoodle loves the lamb roll from the meat market, super cost effective and smells fresh. Carry your own bag as they charge you and there's plenty of parking space during the day.
Have to give 2 stars because customers that can only come on weekends only have a Saturday and only till 1pm. This is not good when you have customers trying to get to you from far places. Keep it open till at least 5pm for us to get there. Or a Sunday till 4pm. Providing more work for people and ample time for weekend shoppers
Ordered goat meat instead got lamb meat. Boiled it for an hour still rigid & hard to chew. Regret my decision.
Although good selection of meat it wasn't any cheaper than anywhere I shop in Blacktown area. Most vegetables were of a very poor quality so won't be back.
Cherish Pendle Hill meat market while you’re there. I lived around the corner for 5 years shopping there weekly. I’ve now moved up the coast and have been forced to shop at Coles, it’s horrible. Pendle hill has a great selection at great prices. At Coles it feels like there are 5 options for meat where Pendle hill has 50+. Just little things but are a huge difference like chicken wings, I’ve bought them for $3-$4 per kg. Imagine my surprise when they were $8.50 at Coles. Lamb chops were consistently $15 per kg at Coles they’re $23 when on “special”. I hate the area and glad I’m gone but the one thing I will miss is the Meat market.
Just wanted to update my post. I take my mother inlaw to pendle hill meat market on a regular basis.
We were last there about 3 weeks ago, it was packed with people, and the big fella that works there with a moustache served her, he was patient and respectful, considering she is difficult woman to serve. Thank you. Also thank you to all the other staff who have been so helpful and considerate to her when she needed help thank you.
Awesomeness, great value, great staff, and loved the organic grass fed scotch fillet the other week, awsome. Pendle Hill Meat Market has the most awesome range and quality of fruit and vegetables as well. All staff are very approachable, especially the friut and vege guys. If you have any experience in smallgoods, these guys make there own, best quality, wont get that at the big names. Every time I go there the staff give amazing service, the service that was given back in the day. Please don't stop your my favorite shop. Even when the place is packed its still quicker to get out of the checkout then the big names. And the service is great!
