My father moved into care October last year. The transition into care was great. Dad loves his new home. The quality of care is exceptional. Dad participates in many of the activities which are stimulating and diverse. I am so grateful we found him a wondered place where he will be cared for.

The staff at Pemulwuy Aged Care were very professional and caring and made us feel so comfortable. Special thanks to Bobby, Lynn and Sargun and all the carers for looking after mum.

My dad stayed at this facility and was very happy to be there. He developed a friendly relationship with the staff.

Our family were also more than happy with the facility and staff and frequently commented on how reassuring the facility was.

We were also advised by phone and email of anything if note that would be of interest to us.

Unfortunately, Dad was taken to hospital due to advanced cancer. Eventually the decision was made to transfer Dad back to Pemulway for palliative and end of life care. This was done to make sure he was in happy surrounds for his remaining days.

The care, compassion and empathy shown from Reception, carers and nurses was at the highest level.

The nursing staff ensured that Dads final days were pain free and dignified as much as possible. Nursing staff quickly enabled a specialist palliative care nurse to attend to ensure he didn’t suffer.

Our family will be eternally grateful to the facility, especially the nursing staff.

Highly recommended

Can I just give a huge commendation to the staff at Allity. My dad was one of those oldies, determined to die in his own home. His care needs became impossible to meet due to the increased frequency of his falls, his depression following the death of mum, and his deep loneliness. The day we moved him in he was like that dog, reluctant to go for a walk, resisting every effort to move forward. Within 2 days of being there, he said he should have come earlier. The following Saturday he had a dizzy spell where he was very unsteady on his feet. Within 2 minutes a registered nurse was by his side taking his vitals and monitoring him closely. There is such an abundance of the most caring staff, right from the Bobbi, the General Manager who ensures every need is met to maximise dad's well-being, Steph, who runs the cafe, who makes an effort to learn the names of the family members, Nerin whose smiles and belly dancing as she takes the washing makes dad's day, to the male and female nurses who helped squeeze dad into his clothes to go out as the food is so good he has put weight on. But, their devotion to their vocation was never more obvious than on Thursday when they put on a High Tea for the International Day of the Older Persons. With beautiful fine china, tiered plates of delicious sandwiches, cakes and desserts, table decor that made them feel like they were at an exclusive restaurant, an entertainer that got them singing along, the joy that the staff bring to these "elder persons" is obvious. We are so happy and relieved to see dad so well cared for. We could not provide the level of medical attention he needed and Hong, the Activities Coordinator works so hard to ease their loneliness. I would recommend without hesitiation Allity at Pemulwuy.

Mum celebrated her birthday today with a beautifully made cake from the in house chef. Big Thankyou to all involved.

Mum just spent 9 weeks in respite here. Having Dementia meant that the stay was not without its problems, for example mum placing items in a safe place then stating the staff stole it however the staff handled the situation with care and compassion.
Mum made many friends during her stay and was sad saying goodbye.
I want yo thank the staff for their care and assistance.

Our folks have been in Pemulwuy for about 2 & a half years now. The staff are sensational with them. Carers are always friendly & helpful. Manager Bobby is always approachable and always friendly and helpful. The ladies at the front desk are superb. Mum loves the bus trips, concerts, bingo & resident meetings. We get emails from Hong telling us of the weeks activities coming up, gives them time to plan their week.
Very happy with the way our folks are treated

My father has been a resident at Alitty Pemuluwuy for just over 5 months. He has severe, stage 6 Dimentia and resides in the Dimentia neighbourhood.

It’s not an easy decision at all to bring your loved one to a nursing home. There is change for everyone involved. That being said, the opportunity to take residency at Alitty Pemuluwuy was truly sent straight from heaven!

As a family, we couldn’t be happier or more satisfied that our father is a cared for and considered resident in the Birrawa Dimentia ward.

Remember, I am a loved one. I don’t work there. I will be the first to give a million compliments and the first to offer constructive feedback. I don’t get anything from offering this feedback, but if I can encourage another family to make their decision easier, then it’s worth everything.

The team is lead by Bobby, the General Manager. This individual is incredibly professional, deeply motivated to ensure her team and her residents are all feeling happy and good in any one day. Each day has challenges, but Bobby is empathetic and very effective in her communication and how she leads the team. Her commitment is palpable and her desire to make ongoing and positive contributions towards her team and residents makes us feel that we have Papa in the right place.

Bobby is a doer, her team are also doers. It’s obvious she has a very strong team and they all have demonstrable strengths in their professions.

My experience specifically in Dimentia is one that we visit every day. There is a big team, but each of them have very loving, endearing and happy personalities and they honestly do everything they can to ensure every resident has the best day that they possibly can. The biggest and one of the most compelling factors is that the team in Dimentia are experts in how to care for your loved one. To have staff with consistent employment at one establishment is a big deal. We are incredibly fortunate with the team caring for all the residents in Dimentia- every single one of them care as if it’s their own family. They care with compassion and with tender kindness. We see it every day. There are some challenging Dimentia cases, yet, I watch on as each member assists the resident with extreme kindness. Everyone wants their loved one to be treated with kindness - this is honesty ‘home away from home’. The team at Birrawa and all the associates in supporting areas have demonstrated why they were recruited to this incredible team! They each possess a passion for aged care, for loved ones in their fragile years and the team want to be there. You can’t recruit just anybody, this is a very specific specialty and you either have the temperament and passion to make a difference, or you don’t. The team in Birrawa are extremely hard working and very honourable towards each resident.

The team care manager Honey is sent from heaven. What a beautiful human! Her years as an RN and then working in Dimentia and now as care manager shows us her depth in knowledge in how she coaches our family through different stages. She is such a kind, thoughtful and humble person, we know that we are all in good hands with her taking care of the residents and the team.

To the personal care workers, lifestyle and RN’s who love and care for my Papa when my sisters, mum or I are not there are absolutely next level amazing! There are so many and every single one of them are absolute angels!

Your loved one will be loved and cared for and always in good hands.

Our Mother has been in the centre for about 6 months now and she has been taken care of so well.
She hasn't looked this healthy in years!
Mum really enjoys the bus trips and the concerts and she's getting more and more involved in the other activities now too.
Every staff member I have met has been so caring with Mum, and they all seem to know where she is and what she's been up to every time I visit.
Gives me a lot of comfort that she's in safe and caring hands.

Bobby our G. M was just in my room talking about Alf, s appointments with doctors. I congratulated Bobby on the perfect Christmas Dinner we had yesterday, Tuesday. So much organisation had gone in to make our day perfect. The entry was decorated with Santa and Christmas decorations, we all had a photo with Santa. Hong escorted us all to our seats, the tables were decorated very lovely with Christmas cheer and Bon bons. You were offered a drink of beer, wine, juices? Or water. We sang Christmas carols before our food arrived. Entrees prawn cocktail, fruit cocktail or lettuce leaf filled with egg, croutons and something else. Alf and I had that and throughly enjoyed it. Main meal was 5 star. Turkey ham, potato bake, pumpkin and greens. Our meal melted in our mouths. Dessert was Christmas pudding with custard or meringue. A great lot of effort and organisation went into our party. It was followed by entertainment and staff and residents dancing. A good day was had by all. God’s blessings to Bobby and staff. Merry Christmas. ️️

Bobby Kaur and the staff at Pemulwuy provided a fantastic caring environment for my mum Rosemary right up until the morning of her passing just a few days ago. The kindness and compassion of the team in managing someone with late-stage dementia is really admirable, as also is their close communication with the family through such a challenging period of life. Mum was happy and in good spirits, well cared for and in a safe environment. I think she could be feisty and gave her carers plenty of grief, but they were always warm and caring. I miss the happy welcoming reception staff who made you feel welcome every visit.

93 year old mum with dementia and heart failure abandoned at Westmead! We were EMAILED late friday afternoon that the facility we had contracted for respite and working toward a permanent residency with, Pemulwuy, would not be taking mum back! The distress this caused our family after having had mum in hospital for 8 days, I sincerely hope that no other family goes through. I don't believe any of this was intentional but where was an incredible void of common sense, decency and humanity demonstrated. I asked for an audience with the CEO of Allity and the GM of Pemulwuy so as to give a feedbacl lop to hopefully prevent this forward, no response fronm the CEO and the GM thanked me for my offer without any feedback having been given! I hope this review goes some way toward improving services and not having repeated what we endured.

My mother in law was a resident for approximately 4 years and everyone went above and beyond with her care. All the staff are so respectful to the residents and their families and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We recently lost our dear mum and again the staff and management shone with their help and concern. It definitely helps knowing that if your elderly loved ones cannot live at home, they are somewhere that treats them like they are.

I have nothing but praise for Allity aged care Pemulwuy. The General Manager Bobby Kaur is always contactable and actions all request. The staff overall are excellent. The meals are being improved as per the General managers directive. To date my father feels safe and that is what counts at this facility. I am certain more improvements for the residents will be on the agenda.

My mum has been looked after the allity aged care team Pemulway for the past 6 months now.
I have found the allity team from the manager to the friendly staff at the service desk to be cheerful and always happy to see you. The nurses are to be commmended, always working to see that residents receive the best care possible. I would highly recommend allity aged care to anyone thinking for the future of their loved ones with confidence and no hesitation.
