Seeing Kirby at pelo is not your average hair appointment salon, is a full experience! You definitely get spoilt by Kirby and the girls! Almost 5 years seeing Kirby and I wouldn’t change her for anyone or anything in the world!

I recently had an incredible experience at Pelo by Lago hairdressing salon, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, every aspect of my visit was outstanding.

First and foremost, I was thrilled that my hair briefing was met with precision. As someone with mid back length hair, I was concerned about finding a salon that could understand and accommodate my specific needs. However, the talented stylists at Pelo by Lago not only listened attentively to my requests but also delivered beyond my expectations.

What impressed me the most was how comfortable I felt as a male with long hair. Sometimes, it can be challenging to find a salon that caters to individuals like myself, but Pelo by Lago made me feel right at home. The salon's welcoming atmosphere and the staff's inclusive approach created an environment where I could freely express my desired hair goals.

Speaking of hair goals, I had requested hair shaping, thinning, and cutting to achieve a versatile style. I wanted my hair to be easily tied up in a low man bun but also wearable down for different hairstyles. I am thrilled to say that the stylists not only accomplished this feat but exceeded my expectations. The precision in their work was evident, as my hair now looks fantastic both when tied up and when worn down.

The staff at Pelo by Lago are truly exceptional. They were not only polite but also highly professional. It was evident that they take their craft seriously and are dedicated to providing the best hair services possible. I’m temporarily living in France and just had a haircut here, but the entire time I was thinking about how fantastic my haircut at Pélo was. The ambiance was lovely, I felt pampered and relaxed and the hairdresser put in the effort to understand exactly what I wanted for my cut and executed the vision so well! The haircut itself was fantastic and I’ll be back as soon as I’m home!

It was the best service I've ever had in my entire life haha. The consultation and check ins with the colour goal and the questionaire was very thorough and thoughtful. I love my hair so much and Kirby and the staff are so lovely!

Kirby is such an amazing colourist and stylist. She really goes over in detail with what you're looking for but is realistic with expectations! My colour is still looking so beautiful 3 months later.

Kirby completely transformed my hair! As my hair is already thin, I was worried about going lighter but Kirby not only perfected the lighter colour on me but also made my hair look fuller with the style cut! Would highly recommend.

Having recently moved to Sydney I was fortunate enough to come across Pelo by Lago & Kirby’s incredible work. With moving countries during the pandemic it had been over 2 yrs since I’d had my hair colored and a yr since my last cut. Wow, am I glad I waited… the cut and color is perfect! Not only is Kirby extremely talented, and passionate but her commitment to continually learn & enhance her professional skills is admirable. The fit out & ambience in the salon is beautiful, relaxed & friendly. Oh and the comfiest wash basin lounges I’ve ever experienced, no neck straining here. I cannot wait to go back for my next appointment! Could not recommend Kirby & the team at Pelo more highly! ️
