Pelican RSL Club

They took a booking for a wake. They charged for food which was not good enough very little.

Waited 30 minutes for lunch at bistro when it was not busy. Only 2 other people eating. Meal was just OK. Staff were pleasant.

I just had the worst combination short soup
No prawns no chicken or beef or pork,
There was a couple of meat type things in the soup not sure what it was.
I will not be going back.

Absolute rubbish, food is well below average. Stay chicken came out as satay onion, struggled to find any chicken. Crispy beef was so tough it hurt your jaw chewing it and fried rice was more like boiled rice, very bland. Location was very good and would recommend if you have children, great area for kids, just eat at the pizza place instead, pizzas were very good.

This is a fantastic club for families.
There is a great area outside that is all under shelter with plenty of tables.
We had a party there for my granddaughter's 1st birthday the staff cleaned up afterwards and there is also a play area right beside this so parents can watch the children.
Also the adults can then go and have a feed at the bar or at Laws Chinese restaurant there's a Courtesy bus and plenty of Raffles.
Accessible for wheelchairs generally all round great place to go.
Are used to live down in this area and I have frequented this particular RSL club for about 20 years and it's always been pretty high standards.
Right beside the water also.

Place has a great Chinese restaurant, the eating area is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is terrific

Great range of beers and a great Cafe with quality food.
We normally eat at the cafe and we haven't had a bad meal there yet. My wife declared that they do the best chips of any local club and I love their Large Garden Salad. Staff are friendly and very helpful and they have a massive meat raffle on a Saturday afternoon.

Chinese food, pretty ordinary, asked for no capsicum, but order arrived with lots of capsicum, asked for another meal, but they just removed the visible capsicum and put it on another plate. Prawns with garlic and chilli came without chilli and then they wanted to charge $2 for a chopped up chilli then wanted $10 as minimum $10 on EFTPOS, they really need to step up their game

Has disability parking x 2 out front more over the road. Chinese restaurant has a nice selection of foods. The bar area also has Australian meals.

The Chinese food was absolutely awful. I can’t remember the last time we had such bad food.

Had afternoon watching band like DV8 and Kevin Borich Express enjoyed lucky didn't rain.

Had lunch here as I craved some fish and chips. Have not visited the Club for many years. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating and kept within strict Covid 19 guidelines for health and safety.

The hidden gem. Great food, great staff and the best beer in town. Cannot wait for lockdown to end.

Staff at restaurant very friendly food was great except my salad never came but meal size was more than adequate will try again

Relaxed and friendly club with good range of meals
Smaller than many other clubs so better atmosphere.

A fantastic club for a rewarding experience, staff were very, polite, courteous and helpful. The meal at Laws Chinese Restaurant was superb, & very well priced. Afternoon tea was an experience with all the in-house cakes & slices to choose from. # Pelican RSL Club is definitely worth a visit to experience this fantastic facility.

Our first visit there and we had a lovely meal. But found it very noisy. We will definitely be back
