Peak Physio reviews
75"Alexi McCann is an exceptional physiotherapist who truly cares about her patients' well-being. I have been seeing Alexi for the past few weeks and have made great progress with her personalized treatment plan. Her knowledge, expertise, and gentle approach make each session comfortable and effective. She takes the time to explain everything and ensures that I understand the exercises and techniques. I highly recommend
I would not recommend Peak Physio as I went twice and I found the service expensive and very disappointing. I was surprised how superficial the treatment was plus there was no effective treatment plan provided. Also the diagnoses were vague in contrast to the payment gap (I have private health).
Since then I have recently been to two other physios (once) and I have on going appointments booked as i have had more symptom relief and so am happier with my progress. They have provided me with more clarity about my symptoms and their treatment has been very powerful and effective; ironically although they both gave me more time there was no payment gap.
I would highly recommend Peak Physio. I have been for two different injuries and both times the treatment has been exceptional. The physios were eager to get me back to my normal function at a reasonable pace while making sure I was safe and well recovered. My GP was very impressed with the rehabilitation I was able to achieve and it helped me avoid other unnecessary major medical interventions. They are friendly and explain everything really well, I didn’t feel like there was a silly question. I also liked how the physios emailed me videos of my exercises which was useful when there’s a few to remember. I’ve recommended multiple people to come here, so if you need to get something checked out definitely give Peak Physio a call.
Very highly recommended! I saw Ariane McCormack. She did a very thorough assessment, was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. Reception was also very helpful and efficient.
My daughter has been fortunate to engage with Peak Physiotherapy and have a personal therapy program designed to address her physical goals.
Living with Down Syndrome, she has a need to maintain her muscular strength, balance, coordination and bone density so she can keep active for longer. She is also a passionate dancer, and she has a desire to use her physical therapy sessions to assist her with her dance development, working at maintaining optimal coordination and strength.
At Peak Physiotherapy, my daughter has been able to integrate her love of dance into her physiotherapy sessions - taking control of her health and well-being, enjoying her love of dance and focusing on injury prevention and overall physical wellness.
I have really benefited from pilates sessions. Get great personalised care from the Physio with the enjoyment of a small group setting. Can recommend it to all.
Peak physio is an excellent service offering a range of individual or group services. I have had the pleasure of working with Olivia and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have old injuries and I have complete and total trust in Olivia.
I often recommend this service to others. The reception staff, Cheryl, is always friendly and helpful. All other staff I have had contact with are also helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
An exceptional physio practice. Alexi McCann (physiotherapist) was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She put me at ease from the very first session, and always explained concepts/exercises in a detailed and helpful manner. Conveniently, I also received videos of exercises at the conclusion of each session. Cheryl (receptionist) also had a lovely demeanour, and was extremely friendly and helpful. My experience exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend Peak Physio!
Felt well cared for and in professional hands from the beginning. Very thankful to Peak for their great therapy
After many years of visiting different Doctors with no results, my daughter looked up someone who may have a different approach to my diagnosis. I have had a very bad back and hip pain. I firstly joined the exercise group and found that was wonderful now I am seeing Alexi Mc Cann the physio who is giving me lots of relief. I am very happy with the service and care I receive at Peak Physio. Lorraine Thompson.
Peak Physio has friendly & positive staff. They have a variety of exercises to facilitate recovery and provide instructional online videos to help you at home. I have had a positive experience in my recovery from a meniscal tear.
Peak Physio have wonderful staff and provide excellent service. The Pilates sessions are enjoyable and worthwhile.
I can thoroughly recommend Peak Physio. Myself and family have seen Olivia many times and she is brilliant. She’s a great diagnostician and her treatment during the consult and prescription of appropriate follow up exercises have fixed painful muscular issues over the last few years. We went there on a friend’s recommendation and we are very happy.
I have always found the team at Peak to be very professional and caring. They draw on clinical experience and research and take the time to develop an individualised approach.
I started to see Ariane when the practice was recommended by a midwife to help manage lower back pain during pregnancy.
It was easy to book an appointment at a time that suited me using the online booking system.
Since arriving to my first appointment, all of the staff have been friendly and approachable.
Ariane heard all of my complaints, made thorough assessments and was able to provide treatment which helped me gain some much needed relief as well as providing some appropriate stretches to help me manage at home.
I can’t recommend the care provided by the team at Peak Physio enough.
Peak physio has been a game changer for me! Warm, welcoming and professional - and most importantly effective!
I can’t recommend Peak Physio enough! Olivia has helped me through a couple of issues and made such a difference and is always so friendly and puts you at ease. Cheryl is always so lovely to speak to at the desk.

Peak physio has helped me through a back injury, preventing me from moving. Peak was easy to access and very quick to get in to. Ariane is wonderful and I highly recommend her to every one. Not only has she helped with my injury but also worked around my pregnancy needs.
As I'm getting older (65) I realised that I needed to improve my strength and balance. I have been to classes at Peak Physio in Newcastle for the past 6 months. I feel great.
Love the classes and love the ladies in the class and the instructors.
And its fun.
