4This company did an excellent job fixing my house after it was water damaged. My insurance company sent out two builders to do a quote for them. The other one was horrendous and was only going to do the bare minimum and ignored my worries about the mould. The guy from Paynter Dixon was much more professional and was nice to me, and took the time to explain to me what would be covered in the scope be repaired etc.my insurance company ended up choosing the other company and I complained and told them my concerns of how the other company were dodgy and did not effectively deal with the initial restoration work. Luckily, the insurance company listened to me and changed it to appoint Paynter Dixon. They did an excellent job and it was all completed in a number of weeks, I couldn’t believe it. They followed through with the recommendations from the mould specialist report (that I organised myself) and arranged everything. They consulted me about the finishes, matched my paint colour and brand, allowed me to upgrade some things like my benchtop (i paid the extra) they were more than happy to pick it up from Sydney for me and install it. I bought a new oven and sink which they were happy to put in etc.the other company refused to replace one side of my kitchen cabinets, despite there being a high chance of mould behind it. Paynter dixon put in their scope that that side of the kitchen would be replaced pending if there was mould behind it. When they pulled it out and found the mould they added it to the scope and got my insurance company to cover it no dramas. They also cut more of my water damaged walls (that the other company refused to do). If you want your home to be fixed properly, you should definitely advocate for this company. Excellent customer service and easy to work with. Ben Phelps was the one assigned to manage the work at my property. Highly recommend!

Had some work to do on gas meters located at 134 marine parade, Maroubra. Construction Site manager comes to me saying that I shouldn’t do it as I am on “private property. ” I have a white card, no one on site wearing hard hats.
Gas utilities act 1996, section 55. Look it up.
By his logic, none of us would be able to work on ANY gas meter.
