Highly recommend payless tyres & brakes. They fit me in as soon as they could, gave me an exact indication of price and how long it would take and delivered perfectly and friendly, great service.

At last minute I came in to see if I was able to get a quick wheel alignment before driving back up to Brisbane. All was well, they were fully booked but were able to squeeze me in on the day. BUT called at 4: 00 to pick up and paid over the phone as, $154 seemed a bit expensive okay. Then I got into the car to see the receipt, and had been charge for a new headlight. Granted, my headlight was out but I had a brand-new one sitting in the glovebox ready to put in. I just stop by to get the wheels fixed first. There was no mention of this charge before, after or during the work being done in the car. So being charged an extra $36 for a headlight that already bought and was ready to install. I don’t appreciate extra expenses been added without consultation first it’s just poor customer communication. I hope this can be fixed in the future, be better.

I have been a customer of Payless Tyres in Freshwater for the past few years and every time I go I mean to leave a review because the service is always so excellent. These guys really understand customer service! They are honestly the most helpful auto team I have ever met. Every time I go they always find a way to fit me in.they are always on my side to find solutions in my budget especially a few years ago when I was a poor student and couldn't afford much.
Once, after receiving a HUGE quote from the NRMA service centre in Brookvale telling me I needed to replace my brakes, suspension and a bunch of other work, I took my car to Payless Tyres in Freshy for a second opinion and the boys there were astonished and told me Brakes and suspension were fine. They tuned a few things up and saved me thousands.
On my way to Byron a few weeks ago I wanted to have everything checked for the trip and just dropped in. Even though they were busy they squeezed me in on the spot and even filed up my windshield water.
These guys are honest and focused on service and value. The absolute best team ever. Thanks for everything guys!

Do your homework, shop around, ask a ton of questions and you will end up back at Payless Tyres. Joe run's a great business that has stood the test of time because he looks after people - simple as that. With Covid upon us I did some serious R&D then Shopping and ended up back with Joe & Payless. You get better, independent advice and from my experience, always a better price (and service to match). 10/10.

Joe and his team are fantastic. Nothing is ever a problem and they complete the job on time, always at a reasonable cost and answer any questions you might have.
