Great team with great service! I had Chris recommended to me to let him check my car as he will give me generous opinion about my car and what's need to be fixed. And I got what has been mentioned to me from my friend - great service, great team and generous people. He asked me to leave a car to have a look for a day without fixing anything and charging and the same day in the morning he called me and told me what can be done and adjusted to make car run better with pricing and he mentioned that it can be done the same day. I did not hesitate and I told him to do it as conversation was very generous and straight forward with very good detailed information about my car's state and what adjustments he will do and what impact it will have on my car. During service, he constantly reported about my car by giving me a call on what is happening and how service is going. At the end, when I got my car fixed and went for a drive around and during the weekend, the car felt different in a good way and the pricing for that was very reasonable.
Chris has a great team with great communication. Receptionist and other team members were very welcoming and generous with great sense of humor, which they do not hesitate to add to the chats!
Honest, reliable, great people, reasonable prices - cannot ask for something better!

Mark (The Dad, is what he goes by apparently) and his team are the best auto repairers I have ever experienced. They are super friendly and the most affordable out there. They seem to be on a mission to redefine the customer service among mechanics which seem to be very very rare these days. Had the wheels changed and aligned on my Mustang at the best price and I couldn’t be happier.

We had a tyre puncture early in the morning during peak hour traffic. These guys went out of there way to accomodate our repair first up whilst already being extremely busy. It is getting harder to find honest shops around the Northern Beaches. Thanks guys, will definitely use again

Overall a well run business which not only sells tyres but also give a full range of car mechanical services and repairs. You can expect to payless without compromising quality. Chris Vakis and his Payless Tyres & Brakes service just north of Roseville Bridge at 702 Warringah Road Forestville is a business I have dealt with multiple times, and on each occasion I have been impressed with the honesty, the care and the level of service. Plus he likes my little Rotty when I visit in the car. Chris has shown a level of customer courtesy and respect similar to the level that won me the coveted dealer of year award (motorcycle dealer). That's about as high a recommendation that I have ever given any motor business, in fact it's the only time I have given that referral, don't take my word for it, try them out and be happily surprised like I have been.

Chris did an awesome job of replacing 4 tyres plus front brakes and rotors. His team did an excellent job and the price was extremely competitive. Chris even had a curtisy car available which was unexpected.
