We had our bonnet latch cable replaced with these guys and it broke again not caused by us but the latch cable from self expanding this was explained by them and was covered under warranty. Spoke to the lady who does the booking and explained it’s same issue and need this fixed again. Also we had another warranty job where the coolant sensor alarm was coming up again an on going issue, for this the part was ordered due to COVID there was a long wait. We got called this year and was told the part for coolant sensor has arrived it will still be covered under warranty and can be done at next vehicle servicing. We Called to book this in but couldn’t get a date when we were available so we took it to Liverpool branch last month they did servicing and advised to take vehicle back to Campbelltown for the bonnet latch and the coolant sensor job since they have the part arrived as it should still be covered under warranty. After repeating ourselves today the lady still booked us for another inspection when we clearly told her what the issue was. They sent an email today after dropping our vehicle with two new fault charges showing around $1000 this never existed and we declined that to be fixed. We called and spoke to the manger explaining what happened he said there’s no record of any calls they made to us this year to bring vehicle in however the manager said part arrived and after waiting 10 days they sent part back. Which we weren’t made aware of that part will be sent back after waiting 10days. How can they send part back without informing us so clearly a call was made to us that’s how we new the part had arrived. The manager also said “ we can’t be chasing every single person if they have issue they have to come here”.
Now the warranty period is over if we want this fixed we have to pay. He was being extremely rude and was only interested to get money from us. He said to pay the inspection charge of $187 when we clearly told them we didn’t want vehicle to be inspected rather get the ongoing issue fixed with bonnet latch breaking all the time he insisted we pay for inspection which we did. When we got in the vehicle we saw that all the fault indicator alarm lights came on even the park brake one and reverse camera not working anymore we went in the office they sent a guy who had no idea even where the park brake was then he went and got the manager who didn’t want to hear us and started saying that’s all the faults you have to get fixed that’s why those indicator alarms are on. We said we had no issues with anything else the reverse camera, the park brake it was all working fine. It’s probably when his mechanic used his computer to diagnose when carrying out inspection that’s when these indicator alarms would have come on and stayed now that’s stopped the camera from working as well and you guys should fixed this indicator alarms as there’s nothing wrong with it. The manager had a very bad attitude, very rudely he said I will have to take this vehicle in again for inspection and that will cost you another $187. Which we didn’t agree to pay since we never had this issue. Very disappointed that he wasn’t willing to ask the mechanic and continued to put pressure on us to pay extra money for another inspection on same day. We had to leave without them fixing the fault they caused. Now we don’t have our reverse camera working and all alarm indicator sensors coming up. We bought this Ute brand new 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500. It’s only done a little over $90k and they caused more damage to our truck it’s heart breaking the way we got treated. Only money matters to them no loyalty for customers.

Purchased a Hilux this week from Paul Wakeling. It was a friendly, easy and seamless. The staff were not pushy, they were professional and helpful in every way.

These people are extremely bad and poor at customer service, the work done are below average. Not fixing the issues of the vehicles. The staff laugh at customers face when faced with a complaints.

I got my car 1st service here staff was nice but they washed my car and its got so many scratches around my car those one reflect in the sun shine. I feel so bad my car brand new just couple of week old.

The people and their procedures are wonderful. The courtesy bus is a wonderful service, dropping me home and collecting me later. I LOVE dealing with Wakelings.

I had purchased 2 cars in the past and have always found the sales staff to be professional, accomodating and helpful. I recently looked at a vehicle and again the staff was very helpfull. However the trade in offer for a vehicle that I had purchased there 4.5 years ago was pretty much insulting. In the end I had to look elsewhere and got a much better value. The company really needs to fair to its customers and not let down their own diligent staff.

Absolutely terrible!
Bought new car, not even 3 years old now having transmission problems.
They advised the service department is booked out! Till october, very disappointing from them.

They advise they can not do anything till October. That advised that if I was to bring it down no guarantee the car will be checked and if it can be serviced
As I left messages to have the manger call me “Mr Gary Thompson” and apparently he is unavailable

I asked how am I suppose to drive around with a car that is having issues and maybe supply a courtesy car but apparently they have none available. (a car yard like Paul walking have no courtesy cars.

Just for surprised information
We are well aware that all the mechanics are just apprentices and no work completed is being checked by a qualified mechanic.

Update: after posting this review the got a call and was told can bring the car anytime with a check engine light. Bumped up to 4 stars.

Average service centre, experience is passable only if your request fits their process. Super inflexible and unfair.

Had a check engine light come on in
my 1 year old low km car. They won’t book me in to check it for a whole month! It’s a 10 min job (I know, nrma had to do it for me)! It was suggested I not drive my new car for a month while I wait for them to check it! And then ordering parts would be another wait on top. Insane!

Completely ruins my feeling of security in having a new car warranty.

There should be space in their schedule for emergency and warranty work.

Got a kid in a car seat, nope, can’t get a lift in the van. Walk to the train station.

Inefficient reception who also don’t acknowledge you when you walk in and leave you standing around awkwardly.

Seriously don’t understand why this place gets such good reviews.

Went to Paul Wakeling Campbelltown for a recall on my car.
Good, swift, friendly service.
They have a waiting room for customer's who are picking their car up early.
Waiting room is nice n clean.
They have a coffee machine.
Tables chair's, and a television.
A nice and bright, spacious room.
There a Cafe down the Rd if you want a feed while you wait.
It was a good place.
I got a quote for a spare key for my car and were able to supply a number to a locksmith who cut's and programmes key's for a more competitive price if your unable to afford a genuine key from the dealership.
Overall my first experience with Paul Wakeling Campbelltown was good.

Very expensive. Staff at counter must be hard of hearing, had to repeat (in plain English) what I had come to pick up around 4 times, staff member went in the back and came back out asking what I had ordered once again.

Another staff member had to go and find my order, hand it to the counter staff who rang it up for my to pay for.

I took 15 minutes for what should have been and under 3 minute pickup as I had received a text message that the order was ready and should have been at the counter upon my arrival.

Might want to get it together guys.

Disappointing, driven vehicle after general service found wheel alignment out. Took 3hrs to fix, even took to another tyre shop to try.

Had to return a car after a service for a suspected oil leak, problem found to be lack of care in cleaning up the residual oil from filter change. Shouldn't happen but people make simple errors sometimes.

Very good used car dealership and the process of buying a car is made really simple. I was dealing with Michael Vlahovic and he was the best sales consultant I ever had to deal with. Not pushy very emphatic and gave us great tips, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thank you Mick!

Rang this place on New year's Eve by accident,
Was looking for a used car from their VW lot.
Jamie was Ultra helpful though and then looking online found an even better car and deal here.
Popped in 5 minutes before close and Jamie was more then willing to help me and stay back to provide all the details we needed.

Fast forward to the following Monday we dealt with him and then transfered to Michael who allowed us seperate test drives for my wife and myself as we had our newborn baby with us,
Sorted our trade in and contract within a week and our new but used car now three weeks old and loving it, their service was second to none, car was checked, detailed even came with a full tank of fuel (the brand new car I had traded from different dealer didn't even come with that when i bought it new)
Third family car bought from Paul Wakelin and everytime dealt with confidence and respect, we were sold on the service not the car by the end of it. Have even spoken once or twice each week since for courtesy follow up calls about how the car was going and even

Huge thanks again to Michael Jamie and the staff at the used car lot unreal customer care and service and don't hesitate to get your new or used car from here.

We will be back if we ever need a new car!
